Publisher's summary

What does a hungry, pregnant witch do when her whole freaking town goes on a no-carb diet?

I'll tell you what. She goes on the sly and conjures up some anchovy-chocolate chunk cookies dipped in hot sauce - that's what.

Of course my cheating gets complicated when all of the magic in the world goes on the fritz. To solve that particular wrinkle, I'll have to finally find the source of the lurking evil.

Easier said than done. Maybe if I wasn't pregnant and starving, I could deal with the nasty old witch who resides in a gingerbread house. Add in carb-eating fairies who speak French and three rotund familiars who enjoy defacing property with profane graffiti and what you get is almost more trouble than I can handle in my baby-baking condition.

I'm still not convinced I won't be giving birth to puppies since the smokin' hot father of my babies is a werewolf, and no one has given me any concrete proof to the contrary. Getting knocked up by the werewolf of my dreams was all kinds of awesome in practice, but the reality of becoming a mother scares me more than Baba Yaga's horrendous 1980's wardrobe.

Monstrous decisions with enormous ramifications are best handled with meticulous planning or - in my case - after eating a giant mustard slathered jelly doughnut. Neither of those options is possible at the moment, but since there is no way I'm bringing my children into a magicless world, winging it will just have to work.

Wait...was that a contraction I just felt?

Goddess help us all.

This is book 4 in this series. Robyn does not disappoint in this book.. This book is funny and very entertaining. Zelda gets herself mixed up in all kinds of crazy stuff. This story is not exception. I recommend this book and the first three.

….It's Magically Delicious!

Robyn Peterman never fails to amuse me with her snarky, sassy, colorful characters, and hilarious plots that are way out there! She's truly the queen of crazy with an imagination few can match. Her twisted sense of humor will have you laughing so hard it will bring tears to your eyes. I LOVE her stories; however, I do wish they were a little longer, and I would love a chapter or two from Mac's POV.

Zelda, her sexy shifter mate Mac, and the rest of the gang in Assjacket, WV are back for another spellbinding adventure. Zelda's pregnant but it's still up for debate if Lucky and Charm will be babies or puppies. Her food cravings are questionable, and the town's gone carb free in an attempt to help Zelda eat healthier. But when she stumbles upon a house made gingerbread, she can't resist taking a bite or two. When the owner catches her in the act, the old witch insists Zelda help rebuild the house, and that's when things get really weird. Magic goes haywire and it's up to Zelda to seek out and defeat the evil source. Of course, she can't do it alone and will need Baba Yaga's guidance.

Stephanie Riggio's performance ROCKS! She's a talented narrator who knows how to bring the story and characters to life. She's also the perfect match for Zelda. I love how she delivers all of Zelda's snarky, sassy dialogue flawlessly.

Fans of Robyn Peterman's Magic and Mayhem series will definitely want to add this one to their collection. With Robyn's sense of humor, talented writing, and unique world building, combined with Stephanie Riggios's enthusiastic, and spirited performance, Magically Delicious is another fun quick laugh out loud addition to the Magic and Mayhem series. Well worth the time, and at only $10.46 it's a great price.
