SNIGGERS AND MEHs

I love Tara Sivec and, after my last listen (which was a dark disturbing trilogy) I wanted something light and easy.. and the start of this was fluffy fun.. but sorry, the more I listened to it the more juvenile it became. These 25 yr old supposed best friends, and their silly antics, sounded more like stumbling teens rather than grownup adults. This was early 2014 TS so maybe that’s why I didn’t feel or connect to her characters or her story.. but there definitely was humor.

Worth a credit? Another Audible Escape book so thankfully I didn’t use one.

Funny AF!!!

This book was so good, I was even able to get my husband to not only listen to it, but demand I put it on!!! You know a book is amazing when your husband wants to read/listen with you! I love all of Tara's books but this series might just be my favorite. My husband and I are eager to go on to the next book!

The narration was great! I loved that Tara decided to go with 2 narrators for this series!

No Tears...but my fave scene was when Carter caught them in the kitchen....HILARIOUS!!!

This was super cute...but not as funny as the chocolate lovers series! This is grown up Gavin and Charlotte...they have been raised together...and are very mush attracted to one another...well things dont start so smoothly...but in the end it all works out...same great group of characters...and now grown up kids!!!! :)

I RECOMMEND...SUPER FUN!!

Light fun book!

Not for the faint of heart or prudish but, good hearted, laugh out loud fun! The characters are very well developed with complete back stories and quirks! A pleasure to listen too.... Had to purchase books 2 & 2.5 before I finished chapter 1 of the first book!

Love and Lists

I liked this book I thought it was fun and witty but a little over the top. I mean the comedy and the spark and chemistry is there but it was just a little too farfetched.

Don’t get me wrong I love Tara and her humor; Jenny and Drew are my favorite couple. So you see I like the humor. Maybe it was just my frame of mind this time.

I loved the narration I thought it was perfect for this book.

Too over the top

Every line doesn’t have to try to be funny or shocking to consider a book a hilariously good read. This got super annoying by the 30 minute mark and I just couldn’t continue to torture myself any further with it. Good riddance!

I loved the Seduction and Snacks series and each got funnier as it went along. This spinoff about Gavin and Charlotte did not disappoint. I liked their stories and it was a lot fun revisiting the gang. I especially liked having 2 different narrators for the male and female characters which made following the different POV's easier (my only complaint about the previous audiobooks was it was sometimes hard figuring out whose POV you were listening to at first).

A Little too Silly

It started out cute but became unbearable to listen too after each interaction got a little too annoyingly silly.

Very childish

While there were a few humorous spots, I found the behavior and dialogue very immature! It reminded me of high school. Very simplistic predictable plot. I like witty clever banter and this was not it!

I forced myself to listen to the whole book because it received good reviews.

Also if you are looking for steam, no steam here!
