Interesting and Sexy

The story is steady and hits it's peaks at all the right moments. I had thoroughly enjoyed listening to this 1st book and look forward to hearing the rest of the story

Sexy and comical

Great first book. The first succubus story I’ve listened to. Super interesting and a great listen. Narrator does an awesome job with the different voices.

Hot PNR romance

Shy nerdy Stevie let’s her friends talk her into celebrating her 21st birthday on New Year Eve at the club and her life changed forever. She must learn what she is, stay alive and find her inner strength all at the same time. Enjoyed the action scene and the steamy sexy scene. Look forward to the next book

liked the story but,

I struggled to finish listening to this story due to the narrator. It wasn't her tone or inflection that bothered me it was her choice to read the whole story raspy and airy (like Marilyn Monroe singing happy birthday Mr President). I've listened to this narrator before and she didn't read like that. even during the action and fighting scenes, she read like she was trying to get a man into bed. SMDH. It threw off the vibe of the whole story. I would probably read the next one if she's the narrator.

Stevenie is very innocent

Steven is very innocent. This story line is different then some other demon series. There is not much info on the emery that they are up against. The fight scene was cowards. Hopefully, the next book will be better.

Makes no sense

I'm not usually the one to rate books but I just couldn't let this one fly. I love reverse harem stories and love a great story line and build up.... but this one just didnt make any sense at all. The subject of the story should have grabbed me and held me till the end. Unfortunately that's not what happend here. there was no substance to the story, just lots of sex and no build up. Just very disappointed..... couldn't get past the 5th chapter.

A nonsense short story with nonsense filler and all the characters are imbeciles.

Succubus: “I’ve been a succubus for a week and all I know comes from my protectors on a situation to situation basis. If it hasn’t happened, I know nothing about it or what to do! I don’t even know more than 2 positions! How do I get energy or health?”

Protectors: “Your rolled a 1 in all aspects, because we couldn’t find the rest of the dice, that’s why we were sent here. Although our creator had 4 6x dice, we only rolled a total of 4 in both wisdom and intelligence. I got a charisma of 20, though!”

Succubus: “The 1,000+ year old Queen of the Succubi, who has killed every other succubus to ever come of age, is coming to kill me. Roll to see if we run or stay, you say? I lost the die, so let’s stay and try not to…umm…die.”

Protectors: “We aren’t very smart, but even we know that’s dumb. However, we are recyclable, so we shall fight an impossible to win battle and give up after we killed all but the Boss!”

Succubus: “It has been so long since I mourned, like what…maybe 4 hours? I better call for help from my very mortal friend who knows nothing about this stuff, just like me.”

Human friend: “Being a succubus went really badly and the powerful, trickster queen kills all other succubi? Make me one, too!”

Human hacker thoughts: “I like boobs and questing! Sign me up for the next book!”

A big let down.

Honestly this book made me angry. The description of it made it sound amazing and I couldn’t wait to listen to it while I worked out. It feels as if Ms. Skye was very rushed and didn’t want to wait to publish it. I feel like it was written in two hours and then just put out. It had such amazing potential and then it just fell flat. The narrator, Ms. Rose, has a nice voice but she can’t do male voices very well. She also can’t put emotions into her voice. There are some scenes where the main character is supposed to be scared/excited and it’s just not there in Ms. Rose’s voice. Overall, this book was a waste of time and money for me.
