Publisher's Summary

Nowhere is safe when the gods are wicked.

Since the beginning of times, there has always been two sides: Norms and Idols. But never have the scales been so unbalanced as they are today.

I'm a Norm, which means I grew up in fear of the Idols and their godly powers. And now, I'm going to be surrounded by them, day and night. I've been offered a place at the prestigious Gifted Academy, an opportunity very few Norms get.

To survive, I must become invisible. But my hope to get through the academy unscathed goes down the drain when the most powerful boys in school set their eyes on me.

They hate me simply because I'm a Norm. If they knew who I truly am, they'd tear me apart limb by limb. But I'm done cowering away from Idols. It's time for the Norms to fight back, and it all starts with me.

Contains mature themes.

Sleepless Night

I had no problem finishing this book it was fantastic! The female narrator did a really great job on her end I never lost track of the characters or felt jolted from the story while she whispered in my ears unfortunately the same cannot be said for her male counterpart. He did a great job when the tale was told solo but when many characters interacted watch out be it all males or mixed he struggled at least IMO. This story was fun plus interesting that's why I will be here for book two because Daisy rocked, but she did occasionally suffer from the chronic illness of any bully novel female lead the old 'he done me dirty, But he's so hot I should forgive him '. Even with Daisy's weak knees around the main leads sometimes I'm willing to give her and this book some serious gold stars.

Male narrator completely f$&@‘d. this up!!

I wanted to like this book. I really tried but the male narrator butchered this and I could not finish this. In the beginning of the story I thought it had potential but it quickly turned into a a horribly narrated harem/bullying type of book and not a very good one.
