Publisher's summary

With her signature charm and sense of humor, bestselling author Helena Hunting creates a novel about love, family, and second chances in Make a Wish.

Ever have a defining life moment you wish you could do over? Harley Spark has one. The time she almost kissed the widowed father of the toddler she nannied for. It was so bad they moved across the state and she never saw them again.

Fast forward seven years and she’s totally over it. At least she thinks she is. Until Gavin Rhodes and his adorable now nine-year-old daughter, Peyton, reappear at a princess-themed birthday party hosted by Spark House, Harley’s family’s event hotel. Despite trying to avoid the awkwardness of the situation, she can’t help but notice how unbearably sexy he looks in a tutu. Add to that a spontaneous hives breakout, and it’s clear she’s not even remotely over the mortification of her egregious error all those years ago.

Except Gavin seems oblivious to her inner turmoil. So much so that he suggests they get together for lunch. For Peyton’s sake, of course. It’s the perfect opportunity to heal old wounds. Or it could just reopen them. This is one of those times Harley wishes she could see the future…

Super cute!

I loved this book but I’m really sad that it’s the last one in the series. Stella Bloom did an amazing job narrating. For some reason when Jason Clarke says “s” or “c” he whistles. Other than that it was a good book.

Loved this series!

Curious how this story is going to go! Harley just can’t bring herself to say no. I like that about her, it’s kinda real. I sort have it in mind Gavin will look for reasons to have the excuse of his child to spend time with them. I’d have lost it on his mother-in-law (I was disappointed in Gavin for the lunch). Harley’s fears about having children with an older man reminds me why I don’t always get the age gap thing.

DANG, Helena, why weren’t we, your loving, devoted readers, allowed to hear those dirty phone calls about what they were going to do to one another…at least from Gavin’s perspective (especially when Jason is who we all want)?!?

I somehow like that he insisted on protection anyway. I even understand. I’m a little less inclined to forgive his freak out about the playground at Haley.

The epilogue was…nice, but did she have to be adopted? Hmmm…

The narration, top tier!

Amazing!!!

I loved everything about this book. Helena gave Harley an amazing story.
There’s romance, humor, very sweet moments, moments that put tears in my eyes. I wish I could give this book and the narrators more than 5 starts.

Good read🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I love the story. The narrators were great. The writer made the little nine year old almost turning ten act like a baby needing to be read to and sung to before bed was ridiculous. That’s the only part that got on my nerves. Yes she missed not growing up with her mom but that part was too extra for a child her age.

Love Harley and Gavin!

Harley and Gavin are my favorite couple from the Spark House trilogy. The narrator's are *chef's kiss* and the story will make you feel so good with it's sweetness!

Hit close to home

The storyline is real life stuff. Dealing with loss, self sabotage and learning how to trust again is all something we go thru. I loved how the author gave voice to both characters emotions, fears and the willingness to step out of their comfort zone to trust their process in discovering love again.
