We are often on a quest for more, giving in to pressure every day to work more, own more, and do more. For Courtney Carver, this constant striving had to come to a stop when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Stress was like gasoline on the fire of her symptoms, and it became clear that she needed to root out the physical and psychological clutter that were the source of her debt and discontent. In this book, Carver shows us how to pursue practical minimalism so we can create more with less - more space, more time, and even more love.

First things first: the PDF you guys keep asking about is at the end of the publishers summary on this (book's description) page. So yeah if you follow the plan this totally works. I bought the original version and got the updated version for my own personal edification. Knowing why we eat, gain and lose weight helps really maintain a good healthy body with out too much work. I wish i read this before a I had a stroke, thanks to a good waist management plan I'm pretty healthy again hoping to never see another stroke. It's not too expensive especially if you are an audible member like me. I say get it!!!

This book has made a tremendous difference in my life. It has empowered me with the knowledge of how my body works with and how it processes the foods that I eat. I wish that I could have discovered it earlier and maybe I could have saved myself from some of the guilt and shame that I have experienced, but better late than never. Now I know that what I eat rebounds and resounds throughout my entire body and that I no longer have to be a slave to cravings and depression. I love that you go in detail on how to reduce my ghrelin and increase my leptin levels and also that we can't get rid of our genes BUT that we can turn them off. One of the biggest and most critical things I took from this book is that like a GPS, if you get off track just make that U-turn as soon as possible and continue on to the destination of optimal health! Thank you Dr. Oz and Dr. Roizen for caring enough to want to make a difference in our nation and peoples lives. I don't think that I have enough space to tell you all that you have helped me with, but please know that by your education I have made a mental change in how I appreciate this awesome God given body! Thanks again.

The PDF has to be downloaded separately from the Overview on Audible when you are previewing the book. It is 78 pages long!! There is a lot of paper for this audiobook, but it is great to have on hand!

I liked the book, and I appreciate having the authors as narrators. However, one reviewer gave this a 1 star rating because the "PDF" awas not included. However, if you look at the description, there IS an "accompanying" file that you can download. I think it would be clearer if the PDF link appeared in the "Library" section as well, but you have to go back to the book description to download the files.

I enjoyed that there was a little comedy thrown in to make it entertaining. I hate non-fiction but they kept my attention, and in very simple speak taught me what i needed to know. My husband the doctor overhearing the book in spurts said it was very science based no diet "theory" which is rare. so thumbs up.

The repetitious punctuated exclamation of eureka was a lot annoying, but otherwise very informative I had no problem with the pdf. excellent.

The content was good. The supplemental material needed for me to follow the plan outlined was missing from my audible download. Disappointing. It needs to be provided here.

I found the tone very condescending. As a Heath promotion professional myself I understand the need to covey information in a very understandable manner, but...that doesn't mean you talk down to your audience. I also found myself saying out loud too many times. "gender stereotype much?" Holy cow, if I weren't a strong women I would have felt really bad about myself by the time I was done with this book. And last but not least if I heard one more simile I was going to scream like a man getting a Brazilian bikini wax. Yikes!
