The BEST

This book is outstanding. It is very relatable, with amazingly developed characters, lots of unexpected twists, an inspiring and engaging storyline, and an ending that is heart-warming. This book challenges the Christian Church to be better, extend grace, and love people where they are at. My favorite book of all time.

Thought provoking story line.

The narrator's voice made it difficult to think of Dinah and her college friends (peers) as young people. This narrator does a better job with stories encompassed around elderly and adult characters.
The beginning of the book was so frustrating as Mrs. Rivers had Dinah make such silly decisions like walking on such a late, cold night and not sharing with her boss, her senior friend where she'd worked and her parents.

Another Great Book by Francine Rivers!!

I am always so encouraged as a Christian by Francine Rivers' books. Her stories are captivating and subtly teach how to walk daily with Christ in different life circumstances a way that honors Him. I am 54 years old, but I feel like we should never quit learning how to share Christ and offer God's grace, hope & love to others., loving unconditionally!! Very applicable. Thank you!!!

Odd Narrator Choice

I am joyed this book but did not understand the choice of narrator. The narrators voice sounded like that of a woman in her 50s or 60s and the main character of this book is a very young woman.

Emotional

This book addresses the very difficult subjects of rape, unwanted pregnancy and abortion in a very realistic way. The author does a wonderful job of addressing all of these subjects with the heartbreaking emotions, very difficult decision making and realistic views from both a secular culture and a Christian world view. As always Francine Rivers delivered a great read/listen.
