great read

laughed out loud, found love, became red with anger, and bawled my eyes out... excellent story. fine book.

Another great Austin story!

Great book...Austin does it again with creative, and gifted historical detail of settings woven through all of the time periods of the book. Full of tragedy and triumph, overall a good read. Narration is good, although sometimes slower paced than I like but Hendrix does a good job representing the nationalities of voices, and does so with intent and purpose as she reads. Lots of redemptive threads in the story.

I would recommend

Well written. The beginning started out a bit slow but as the story continued it difficult to put down, despite the voice reading the story. As a matter of preference I would have like a voice with a little more excitement. The story had some interesting twist and turns. All and all I really enjoyed it.

Oh my gosh! This was SO good!

I can't say how much I love and appreciate this author and her Christian romance novels! They are so full of Grace and mercy and the real love of God that blesses me every time. I cried quite a bit actually, you just gotta read it. Highly recommend!

This one engaged me from the beginning

What a pleasant surprise this story turned out to be. I guessed some of the story line, but it was well worth the time to hear it all.
