Publisher's Summary

The Redemption series won Christian Retailing’s 2005 Retailer’s Choice Award for Best Series!

When Kari Baxter Jacobs finds out that her husband is involved in an adulterous relationship and wants a divorce, she decides she will love him and remain faithful to her marriage at all costs. This audiobook shows how God can redeem seemingly hopeless relationships, and it illustrates one of Gary Smalley’s key messages: Love is a decision.

Very, very good book!

I am a Christian and for me it is difficult to find books that are true to God's Word. This book is one of them. The writer has remembered that God's Word is Holy. The storyline is very good, but it is not all happy-happy because life is not all happy-happy. We all deal with trials and this book reminded me most of all that "His grace is sufficient" for me and I must always seek God's Will. The characters are very well developed and have depth. The story line is not plot driven, but rather character driven and I enjoy that. The narration by Sandra Burr is excellent. I intend on purchasing and reading/listening to this entire series. If you are a Christian, you will love this book. If you are a non-believer, buy this book because it may help you to understand God's Will for your own life. Either way, God Bless and thank you Mrs. Kingsbury for being a good and faithful servant to our Lord.

Predictable

I liked the story. And the message to follow God's plans not our own. It wasn't my favorite bc I didn't get any wrap up on other characters stories. And it was super predictable from the start.

disappointed but good messages

I had to work to get through this. I think it would have read better if I had read it. I found the reader difficult to listen to: a little syrupy and dramatic when it didn't call for it. Great messages though. Still, I gained by this audiobook.

Awful.

These characters are the weakest, wimpiest characters. And the narrator’s voice didn’t help. She made the main character seem shallow, wimpy, and whinny. The main character cried throughout the ENTIRE story. Literally, that’s all she did. I was extremely disappointed in this story.

Always great!

As always Karen has been a guiding force against evil. She surpasses each book by book.

Christian fiction at it's finest.

The story is dated since no one seems to have a cell phone but God and truth never changes.

Disappointed by the Narrator

I love reading Karen Kingsbury books and was very excited to hear this one come to life. Sadly the narrator fails to bring the story to life. I didn't make it to the third chapter before asking for a refund. Karen Kingsbury plays out her female characters as strong woman in their own right but the narrator voices them as soft whining fake females.
