Hot and Twisty and Depraved Oh MY!

WOW...what an Dark and Depraved read. Lets just say 50 shades doesn't have nothing on this! I couldn't believe the depth and detail in this story. I love how Pepper stories are all narrated. No spoilers here, but some advice..... DO NOT read close to bedtime, you will be up all night!!

What a Trip...

Pepper Winters takes the reader on one woman's horrific journey. While her experiences tests every bit of her inner strength, they also allow her to actualize her deepest desires. The man whom she perceives as a monster, who twists her mind, and wrecks her sanity causes her to question everything she knows about herself.

This rollercoaster story will cause you to question. The narrators convey the story beautifully. I especially liked the French singing.

Immediately Hooked! Outstanding performance!

Survival, instinct, ownership, dominance, submission, acceptance – each breathing life into the next. Light piercing its way into darkness.

The writing by Pepper Winters makes all your senses come alive. Along with the beautiful narration, the story brought to life color, sound, touch, smell and taste. I felt transported while listening, a witness to each experience at every location. Winters puts you right in the middle of it.

I look forward to listening to the entire Monsters in the Dark series. Pepper Winters is truly a gifted author.

Duel narrations by Hannah Belle and Jacob Morgan were outstanding! They are perfectly suited and gave an amazing performance. I felt the pleasure, pain, happiness and sorrow in every inflection. I look forward to listening to more from this duo.

Great narration!

Narration was great but I usually have a love-hate relationship with stories like this. Although, I have to see where this story goes next. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

First walk on the Dark side..

So this is not you usual love Story. It is dark and raw and touches on things that are nightmares. But it was a good read...unusual from any other. I LOVED the narration!! This is the best dual narration! Would love to read more like this.

Emotional, Powerful, Hard to put down

This was one of the grittiest,Dark romances I've read. And of course, it's by one of my most favorite dark romance authors as well.
Drawn to the twisty, heartbreaking journey Tess is thown into, I couldn't put this book down. So, I bought the audio book to keep it going even when I couldn't read. I was magical. The dual narration fit the story perfectly. The story was good, but the narrative kept me enraptured. My heart broke wide open for every main and side character in this story. I wept for them, I pumped my fist for them, and I grew angry at them for all the wrong-doings in their world. And at the end of it all, I felt content over knowing all the turmoil, all the angst, was worth it all.
For those readers with strong trigger points from reading about rape, kidnapping, and violence - this may not be the book for you. BUT those who can handle it, I urge you to taje a. hance and read or listen to this one. I did, and I am so thankful for it.

Oh my!!!

Pepper Winters is an extremely talented writer, but is hard to imagine where the ideas for some of her books come from. Parts of this book I absolutely loved and parts scared me. The subject of human trafficking is frightening to me and utterly horrifying. The narrators did a fantastic job with their performance. This book is part of a series, yet a standalone. I had actually listened to the second book in this Monsters series before listening to Tears of Tess. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher.

Wow

Quite intense! This is the darkest book that I have read and I'm still not sure what to think. Q and Tess are two messed up people.

such a wonderful story. 1st time listening to this author and I can not wait to listen to book 2. I'm guessing it will even be better
