Kisa Volkova is the only daughter of Kirill "the Silencer" Volkov, head of the infamous Red bosses of New York's Russian Bratva. Her life is protected, but it's also a virtual prison. Her father's savage treatment of his rivals and his lucrative and coveted underground gambling ring - the Dungeon - ensure that too many enemies lurk at their door. She dreams to be set free.
While working for her church - the only reprieve in her constant surveillance - Kisa stumbles across a tattooed, scarred, but stunningly beautiful homeless man on the streets. Something about him stirs feelings deep within her - familiar yet impossibly forbidden desires. He's a man beyond saving, but Kisa becomes obsessed with him. Yearns for him. Craves his touch. Needs to possess this mysterious man, this man they call Raze.

A Sexy Soul Wrenching Series

Laying in bed, I was thinking about the story. How talented an author Tillie cole is to take people who are in a horrible lifestyle, but born into it and make you love them in spite of their circumstance.
The narration for this was so good, particularly Guy Locke. It's not often that a male narrator blows me away, but this guy did a great job.
I read one other Tillie Cole book and I liked it, but wasn't blown away. This book blew other books out of the water.
Great!
one of my favorite audio's ever

Is there anything you would change about this book?
I would change everything about thing about this book. The story had instances of abuse against the male and female lead characters. The story had contradictions. The female heroine's daddy was bigger than everyone else's "Daddy", yet she was repeatedly abused, and did not tell her big bad daddy. I did not get that. Some of the sexual scenes were unwelcomed because it came after I read one of the abuse scenes. What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
I did not finish the book so I don't know if I missed an interesting part. I fought with the characters throughout the pages that I read; even the flashback scenes.Did Amelie Griffin and Guy Locke do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
YesThis book was not for me!
