Remington Tate is infamous both inside and outside the ring—a bad-boy fighter with a granite-hard body, raw power, and a magnetic intensity that leaves fans breathless. But from the moment his eyes lock with Brooke Dumas, she becomes the only woman he wants. His desire is fierce, consuming, and unmistakably real.
Brooke has finally landed the lucrative sports rehabilitation job she’s worked toward for years, hired to keep Remy’s body in peak condition as he dominates the brutal underground fighting circuit. Traveling from city to city with Remy and his team, Brooke finds her own resolve slipping as attraction turns into obsession and chemistry ignites beyond her control.
What begins as temptation quickly becomes something far deeper—and far more dangerous. When Remy’s darkest secret surfaces and Brooke is pulled in competing directions by family obligations, their white-hot connection is put to the ultimate test. In a world fueled by violence, desire, and ambition, they must decide whether what they have is truly real—or destined to disappear.

Is there anything you would change about this book?
I would use the Bipolar disease angle differently. I think the character Remington did not act like he was in his Manic phase with her, he should have been sleepless having tons of sex with her and other people and spending all his money.Who was your favorite character and why?
Remy--duh!Have you listened to any of Charlotte Penfield’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No.Did Real inspire you to do anything?
No.Any additional comments?
I realize that there is a sequel to this and I am not interested in reading or listening to it. I wish sequels would involve a DIFFERENT couple, there is NO erotic tension for the reader when a sequel is about the SAME couple!I enjoyed this more in Audible!

What did you like best about this story?
Remy's struggles were definitely the best part of the story.Which scene was your favorite?
The opening scene.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No, there was too much internal dialogue that kept getting in the way. This story was good, but could've been a lot better if some of that internal dialogue was left out. I would still say it's worth a listen.Good story, good characters, went a little long.

The storyline is unique and interesting. I was annoyed at the woman who has a man who wants to wait and actually get to know each other before sex. She was a twit about that but it's worth a credit. Can't wait to listen to Sebastian York in Remys book
Storyline better than the narrator
