Might be a better read than a listen

The way this book is structured does not lend itself well to an Audible book. I was very disappointed with the way the content was presented. The author seemed to be reading from a set of cryptic notes or a bullet list for most of the book. I had high expectations, but the constant verbalizing of the chapter dividers - 1.1.22, 4.3.6 made if hard to follow a thought flow.

Must read

Right up there with In Search of Excellence and Good to Great. The fact that Mr. Peters narrated himself was a bonus.

Peters say that

Peters says.

Soft skills are just as important as hard skills.

More than 40 years have passed since the publication of Excellent Company, but his consistent assertion remains unwavering.

In these days when we are becoming an AI society, what are we humans better than AI? the author asks the reader.

This book, whose Japanese title is New Excellent Company, will be positioned as a summary of the author, Tom Peters, so far.

I am reading both foreign books and Japanese.

I discover something new each time I read it. This is a book that I always want to keep on hand.

The main story, which is audible, can be read by the author himself.

It is a powerful voice that does not make you feel old.

The passion of the author lights the hearts of readers. Peters says.

16.7.4.3.2.1 WIWATNAA

16.7.4.3.2.1 WIWATNAA (What Is With All The Numbers And Acronyms)

This book has great content. I love Tom Peter's material and enjoyed the book a lot. I haven't seen the printed version but all the numbers and acronyms in the audio version are a bit much. I did think it ironic that he has long sections on tailoring your product to the women's market because they are the decision makers and yet his book reads like a bullet point list.
Im just being picky at this point. I would recommend this book to anyone who really wants to know how to lead a business. Listening, Relationships take time and energy and where most leaders miss the mark.
I look forward to listening to it a second time.

Valuable insights from an influential business mind.

He believes in the entrepreneur; the small business person.
He informs us of women’s highly significant role in the US economy; they make a very high percentage of purchasing decisions.
He studies, he reads a lot, he distills that learning, which he incorporates into his books.
He works hard in his preparation for a presentation.
He believes in the Herb Kelleher and Richard Branson method of prioritizing the employee within a business.

Vintage Tom Peters

I have been following Tom Peters since he wrote: In Search of Excellence.
As with all of Tom’s books this one is filled with many nuggets of wisdom.
Reason this book is like opening up a fire hose and trying to digest it. (In a good way.)
Several times the info was so good I rewound to hear it a second time.
If you are looking to successfully grow your business, this book is invaluable.
I am passing it to my COO.
Highly recommend this book.
