Mundane

The information throughout this audio book is very good and useful. However I found it to be quite mundane and repetitive.

A truly great listen!!

T. Harv Eker is at his best as we have the opportunity to listen into a live seminar that he delivers the tough minded winning attitudes that can shape us to achieve self mastery and Wealth. All done in his usual casual style, there was loads of information that I could use in my own life.
For me personally, I benefited from the stress on keeping to one’s commitments, no matter what... Now, of course, one always has the opportunity to “de-commit”, but as long as the commitment is alive, it is something real.
Also, we get to listen in while members of the audience give their one minute elevator speech of their business and lives, all taped on scene.
I find that seminars are easier to listen to on audible more than books. It seems that books, I can usually read almost twice as fast as fast as the book is being read on the recording...
Overall, Harv keeps us all to his high standard in this engaging seminar.

Do the work

If you listen and do what the lessons teach you will flourish. It’s all about how you apply what is learned and continue the teachings

Inspiring on many levels

I haven't finished the book yet but I am listening to the first part again. I bought "The millionaire mind" the other day and found it good so I wanted more content from the same author to reinforce the ideas. It turns out this book is quite different, it looks into the fundamentals of who we are really (the higher self) and our learned or acquired beliefs (the false self). There's nothing revolutionary in this book - which is actually a series of live seminars- but it's really well put together and it connects ideas in a way that can be quite helpful. I am actually going to listen to it a third time while taking notes. Applying the ideas outlined in this book will inevitably translate into results. No rocket science, no secrets either, but a trove of ideas that can be used to replace the faulty self beliefs one may have, in order to accomplish more and get more, in connection with others. I like that it's also about others and not only about the self, I also like the zen or spiritual ideas. I disliked the fact that there's no accompanying material: during the seminar the author is writing on a paper board, you can hear it but you don't see anything. At some point he mentions a graph, no idea what it is. Also the editing is not top notch but still, very valuable book.

Kinda disappointing

I like his previous book so I thought this one is good. When I'm almost done it's super bothering how he was discussing negotiating skills. It's like he doesn't have any respect for service providers like lawyers and accountants. If you can't afford someone's service fee find someone else. That is very rude to negotiate because you undermine their experience.
