A continuation.
There isn't a whole lot more to say for this one. Everything from the first book more or less remains true for the second. Still doing the same loop over again, still in new rome, the book still ends as it began(mostly). This time around he (sort of) solves his friendship dilemma and gets a more complete understanding of all the major players in town. The humor keeps up, its still fun, a little tragic, and well put together.
It might not sound like a stunning review, but I don't have anything negative to say so I can't think of much to say period. if you liked the first book your likely going to like this one. That's pretty much the long and short of it.

Outstanding series!
The worldbuilding, characterization, and interwoven storylines across time are excellent. Even tho the story spans multiple timelines and some prior experiences, it's never difficult to follow or understand what's going on. This is one of my new favorite authors!
As for the narrator doing the storytelling, Eric Summerer does a fantastic job, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for other stories voiced by him!

maybe the best and funniest book I've read
for a book with such a serious and crazy plot, it still manages to be funnier than so called comedies...
it is even better than the first one which was merely excellent. this is.... unbelievable... it is that well written.
the perfect combination of tension, complex plot without any plot holes I noticed and such good and witty "writing", it feels like a dream... just too well done...
