Great story, disappointing narration
My introduction to the series was a later book narrated by Gideon Emery, who is wonderful. Apparently the first two books are being released as audiobooks with this narrator. Between the characterization and timing it is painfully broadly comic in tone. The subtle wit and serious drama gets lost, and female characters become drag caricatures. Really disappointing. I am debating just skipping the second book and resuming the series where Emery is narrating.

Great story!
I really enjoyed this audiobook. The story goes from one crisis to another, yet provides great details during each event. It grabs your attention as you follow Edwin Drood and his confrontations with his family. Stuart Blinder narrates the story well!

love this book
having read the book previously I was surprised by the choice of narrator. I felt like it took away from the story. it was not at all how I heard Eddie in mu head and it just screamed wrong while listening. the narrator did a fine job but the voice didn't fit. it was very distracting.
