THIS BOOK!!!!!🤯🤯🤯🤯

WOOOOWWWWW. I hope you recognize that Im not exaggerating when i say this is the BEST superhero series out there.... An thats saying alot for me because i LOVED the villains code books and super powereds but I mean WOW. It had the perfect balance of humor, action and character development (AMAZING characters in here btw). Great plot and MC, some amazing ups and downs and all arounds, as well as very cool powers portrayed in a very cool way. I also really digged how the powers came to be and what would happen if you over indulge, very sensible and realistic in as much a way that super powers can be. I am just completely floored by how perfect this series was. Just wow....

one of the best series

I loved this book through and through. it reminds me of a series called Worm-parahumans and that is my all time favorite book. the story telling is great and the powers and abilities kept me on the edge of my seat that whole book. 11/10 would always recommend, it's a top 5 of my 350+ book Audible library.

Funnest Book Series Ever.

One of the funnest books I have ever read in my life, I rarely leave written reviews, but this series deserves one. Extremely creative, intriguing, and fun. This is one series that truly hope continues beyond a trilogy. This story could definitely go on to become a cult classic. I could totally see this becoming a movie or a tv show and do very well on screen. Book Series of the Decade!

A surprisingly fun book.

Books that involve time travel can be a hit or a miss for me. The big problem is usually that most characters feel disposable and the consequences are nonexistent when the mc can just rewind time. In this series I did actually come to care for some of the characters that may have been just temporary, but the MC really steals the show. He is funny, somewhat honorable when it comes to his friends, and someone you can rely on. The MC also doesn't always take everything seriously and is kinda nuts. It was a fun story.

Fantastic audiobook

Wow! What I initially assumed would be a light self-published, low edited book, wound up having way more depth than I initially assumed it would. I picked it up on sale figuring it would be something I could put on in the background in the evening while I wound down for the day. However, it didn’t take very long before all I wanted to do was keep listening to find out what would happen and what new layer of the characters would be revealed. I initially found the main character extremely annoying—constantly using juvenile “humor” and disrupting interactions and my enjoyment. With time its frequency dropped and it was well wound into this character development. Once the book found its feet, I was hooked. What a fun ride and I can’t wait to listen to the rest of the series.

a great culmination

a little bit of the way of kings, a little bit of the black prism, a little bit of Jason asano, and a whole lot of pop culture references make this short series a really fun read. I loved it and think your will too.

Unusual in a good way

This is a really good book. Interesting male protagonist. Very interesting female side characters. Absolutely everyone has flaws. There is a lot of realism mixing fluently with high science fiction all through the book. I loved it.

Schrodinger's Novel. It does, and doesn't RULE!

Ever wonder what it would be like to be an actual character in a RPG? End badly, restart. End badly, restart. Now what would happen if that character remembered everything? Ryan has played this loop before. He's played so many so long that while aging 4 years he's become centuries old and mastered many things. But what he hasn't mastered is his own loneliness. every friend he meets forgets him, every lover is lost to the restart. I've read one other book from this author, his very first one about the leveling dragon. While it had some good parts, it was still really rough and you could tell it was a fresh and learning author. The Perfect Run was popping up in my feed and I was curious. I had seen that the author had written a ton between that early book and this book and I wondered how much they had grown and developed. Plus, this had some really good reviews and an interesting premise.

I'm glad I picked it up! Now, the beginning, is rough. I saw some other people's reviews of not getting passed the first couple chapters because of cliche's and whatnot. That is true. Right out of the gate, this is a straight up Deadpool ripoff, let's be honest. If Deadpool could freeze time and restart, this would be him. I think the author really should have rewritten the first ten chapters a couple times to tighten them up and change the character a bit. However, after you get passed that, the character starts to develop his own personality and vary a bit from Deadpool. (But let's be honest, it's still Deadpool.). That being said, it's fun and interesting and starts to get some meat on the bones and fleshes out. It has fun characters that you get invested in and I'm curious where it goes from here. I'll definitely be picking up book two!

There is some random swearing, f-bombs, here and there, but aside from that, it's a fairly PG-13 book. So, maybe PG-15?
