AMAZING!

Read the book and loved it. Listing to it makes it so much more! Definitely a great listen.

Goose Bumps Good!

Wow! I’m new to Lessa Lamb, but dang that girl has got it going on! She did AMAZING narrative! At a few signing spots I actually got goose bumps! And her expressions and attitude seamed so spot on. It was as Lessa really became the characters. Every single character felt connected to Lessa’s voice she used for them. I’ve definitely become a new enthusiast of her work!
Now I’m also new to Kendall Grey, but I plan to become a new fan for sure! This story was so real, so bad ass, so f#@& Hot and Sexy! I could not get enough! Your so sucked into the story you don’t realize theres life happening around you that’s not the story!
Seriously I’m stingy on 5 stars, so I’m telling you to listen to this story because you will not be disappointed!

Entertaining and Well and Uniquely Written

This is not a book I would have necessarily picked up on my own, but after reading the ‘warning’ I couldn’t resist checking it out. The warning was so witty that I figured if the book was written similar, I had to see if Ms. Grey could keep it up throughout the story. I was not disappointed.

It is witty, fast paced and full of the same wit and vinegar as the ‘warning’ provided. The story includes heartache and pain and some really steamy scenes. Even if it is not accurate as to what happens on a tour bus, it is exactly how you imagine a tour bus to be. Ms. Grey provides great character background and development all while keeping her unique writing style in tack.

This book was made even better by Ms. Lamb’s amazing narration job. While she did not add extra sounds and effects, her phone calls, sounded like phone calls and it was great. I half expected the character that’s typically on the other end to sound like that when she was in person. Ms. Lamb has a great range for the voices of the characters and exhibits the voice of Letty very well, especially since the tone of Letty’s voice is described in detail.

Extra credit to Ms. Lamb for ‘signing’ certain parts of the book as well. First, she’s a narrator, not necessarily a singer. Second, she has to sing it in the way and tone the book describes Letty’s voice, which is supposed to be a unique mix of 70’s rock and gravely voice (think Janis Joplin). When Ms. Lamb ‘sang’ for the first time I immediately thought she might be the singer from one of my favorite (localish) band. Alas, she is not, but she certainly hit what she was aiming for.

Assuming you find the warning amusing and it does not cause you to go running and screaming into the night, definitely check out this book.

5 Steamy Star Rock Romance

This is the first book I’ve listened to by this author and narrator. It’s so good. Totally worth the credit!

Awesome, hot, fantastic!

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook! Hot, kinky and with a great plot. The writing was fantastic, enthralling and really held my interest. I was thrilled that the story was low angst, and the few angsty parts were brief and quickly resolved.

The narrator, Lessa Lamb was wonderful, delightful, perfection. I can’t rave enough about her talent, and her ability to really bring this story to life. Pure, unadulterated genius!

Rock & Roll Hotness

I didn’t want to stop listening to this book to go to sleep but when I woke up it was the first thing I thought about. Lessa Lamb did a fabulous job narrating this book. Her raspy voice was perfect for this rock band chick. I loved all the characters and the great HEA. There is no cliffhanger but there is another book called “Beats” it’s about the drummer Jinx and I can’t wait to listen. “Strings” has explicit language and scenes that I enjoyed but might not be for everyone. I definitely recommend this book.

🎧Audiobook Obsession

Lucky & Shades 😈😱

Holy Wow! I hate to sound like every other reviewer but this is one book where the author offered warning should be followed. First, let me say I did finish the entire book, while there were scenes that had my jaw dropping and double checking that my headphones hadn’t come unplugged revealing to others the shock and awe that was taking place, there is a good story mixed in with all of these hot and HEAVY scenes. The opening scene really sets you up for this being a different type of story.


While this falls outside of what I normally read I found the story to be well crafted - Letty isn’t meant to be liked..she’s meant to be a rockstar- this book is about two people who fall in love; they just do it in a way that falls outside of the norm; with enough kink to make anyone blush!

The Narrator was fabulous! She had a nice growl in her voice when needed and she even SANG some of the words.. I’ll be keeping an eye out for other books by her.

The most ridiculous trashy sex book in the best way

First off, Lessa Lamb did a unique and amazing job as a narrator. The phone calls were my favorite. Wow.

Kendall might have written to raunchiest rockstar novel I have ever read. I would love to know the brainstorming process behind this book. Utterly fascinating.

The couple storyline is unexpectedly sweet, but the real star is Letty. What an unabashedly shameless woman. Her character is just bold and infectious. It was cool to see her fight her feelings for Shades, but be so sure of everything else in her life.

In the end... you might just have to fall.

Fiercely awesome!

Kick ass main character, hilarious inner dialogue, wild and sexy thrill ride of rock!! I really enjoyed this story and was extremely impressed by the narrator’s story telling ability. It’s all about passion!
