So much sex that it was boring

I found the book to be tedious. It wasn’t the storyline that was so tiresome; it was the fact that all we heard over and over was how she was worthless and doubted herself—no confidence, whine whine whine.

Then, we had to hear in minute details about every sex act, chapter after chapter, and how she moaned and how it never had felt so good… blah blah blah. (I am not a prude. 🙄 )

Only the first few encounters with Malachi did we get any sexual tension. After that it was just screw, screw, screw, and more screwing. I actually heard myself saying, oh good Lord, not again. I had to fast forward through a few of them. To me it just added nothing to the storyline. Yes I get the fact that she’s trying to get pregnant quickly. I get the fact that vampires are endlessly horny. But it’s very boring to listen to over and over without any tension building up. Has she never thought about playing hard to get, even once? LOL

The storyline itself wasn’t bad. But I honestly believe that the 15 hour audiobook could’ve been cut to about 8 hours without such redundancy of sex scenes.

Smutty and perfectly fine

This book is good for what it's good for. If you're looking for writing and a storyline to blow you away, this is not it. A huge plot point is just the main character talking about getting pregnant, which I got tired of quickly. I do like most of the characters, but the highlight of this book is the dirty parts. If you're into smutty books where you don't have to follow complicated story lines, you've come to the right place. As long as you temper your expectations, this is a perfectly fine book with lots of filthy parts thrown in at any moment.

Not for me

I really missed the plot behind all the sex. I'm all for a steamy book, but this was lacking.

A LOT OF SEX, great story and narration

Other reviews said there’d be a lot of sex but wow there was more than expected. It was well placed for the story though. I loved the narrator giving each character their own accent to follow who was speaking. She did amazing telling the story and gave so much feeling. All the sex aside the story was fun and kept me listening, I couldn’t stop listening! So worth it!!

What story?

This is just a book with smut. The story isn’t good and doesn’t go anywhere. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Some of the scenes are good but it’s just repetitive.
