New favorite hockey romance

I had already read the book prior to listening to this audiobook & yet I was still glued to my phone/headphones. The narrators did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life! I seriously could not get enough of hearing Teddy deliver line after line of Grey's dialogue.

This is definitely in my top five books of the year & I can already tell there will be multiple re-reads/listens in the future. The plot has so many twists and turns, between Violet's possible st@lker, the intense relationship that is forming between Grey & Violet, plus their past... lets just say there really isn't a dull moment.

I highly recommend this book, just make sure to check the TW/CW's before starting.

Drama done well

This read like an evening drama. Kept you interested. Narration was good. It’s my first by this author and it was enjoyable.
Spice was about 2.5. This was all about the story. I’d still recommend it.

Wish this series was at duet narration!

This was definitely a good book, and I would have given 5 stars but I was not at all fond of how the dual narrators spoke both voices during their respective chapters. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Teddy Hamilton - he is my absolute favorite audio narrator! I just think it would have been much better narrated as a duet; Violet speaking her lines during Gray’s chapters and Gray speaking his parts during Violet’s chapters. I didn’t like how they spoke both parts. To me, that takes so much away from the audio experience. I think it would have made the telling of the story much more intense.

Dark and twisty

Liked the story, it’s was longer than it needed to be. The narrator’s were great.

Intense, Brutal, OBSESSED

I started this on audiobook and I couldn’t stop listening. No one does morally grey like Teddy Hamilton!

Finally I couldn’t wait for my next trip in the car and I switched to my kindle to finish it. Grey is a real psychotic a-hole but I couldn’t help but love him. He truly was BRUTAL to Violet. When it switches from anger to plain protective possessiveness and love…swoon as much as you can with a seriously morally gray MC. I loved Violet and Grey’s story. I had actually read Willows book first not realizing I was out of order at the time and this definitely provided me with more of a backstory, so I'm looking forward to re-reading secret obsession. The element of the stalker added nice suspense as well and the twist- perfection.

I've now finished the series and I couldn't get enough of it. Of all the guys Grey remains my main man. The twisted love stories with their elements of suspense and danger have made this series in my top 3 reads of the year. In a word I'm obsessed and I'm looking forward to reading more from this author. Will I be re-reading Brutal Obsession before the end of the year- the likely answer is YES.
