Soulless At sunset

This book was fun to read. The characters were colorful and the action was almost nonstop.

Book 1 is great

This is a new author for me to enjoy who has an excellent beginning story to a new series. It has a mysterious abduction, a hot ex who is difficult to resist, a battle brewing between vamps and shifters. Exciting and very entertaining. Narration just enhances the story and just makes me want to listen. Already listened twice and read the book once. Ends in an HEA with HFN cause there a lead in to book 2.

slowless at sunset

New Orleans. Shifters and Vamps are getting ready to fight again. The animosity is thick and the blame and finger pointing goes both ways. Phoebe Kilsen is a witch right in the middle of the war.

Phoebe's best friend Willow and the only family she's known, goes missing. Between vamps, "the void," and a new vigilante shifter pack who claims to be protecting the citizens of the Crescent City Phoebe doesn't know who to trust.

Interesting first story but it didn't grab me quickly. Found the story dragged a bit with Phoebe's hot head and the vagueness of some of the characters. Ok, but hoping book 2 is a little more interesting.

Sounds too much like a take of of The Originals.

I can't get past the first chapter. I don't like copycat stories. Not going to continue.
