Publisher's Summary

From New York Times best-selling author Deanna Chase comes the complete set of the Crescent City Fae saga (Books 1-3). Includes Influential Magic, Irresistible Magic, and Intoxicating Magic.

Influential MagicIt's tough being a faery in New Orleans, a city fraught with vampires... especially when their very existence drains your life-force. Willow Rhoswen, owner of The Fated Cupcake and part-time vampire hunter for the Void, is having a rough week. Four years after her twin brother's mysterious death, Willow's life is threatened, and the director saddles her with a new partner - her ex-boyfriend, David. To her horror, he's turned vamp, which causes her physical pain whenever she touches him... and any other specimen of the undead.

In order to save Willow's life, David agrees to turn double agent against the most powerful vampire organization in New Orleans. Or so he says. And she's convinced they know something about her brother's death. Unsure where David's loyalties lie, she turns to Talisen, her childhood crush, to help her solve the mystery.

Caught between two gorgeous men and a director who'll stop at nothing to control Willow's gifts, she'll have to follow her instincts and learn who to trust. Otherwise, she risks losing more than just her life.

Irresistible Magic Finding the perfect dress can be hell...especially when a stranger tries to gun you down in broad daylight. Void agent and magical baker extraordinaire Willow Rhoswen has been anticipating her first date with Talisen Kavanagh since she was 16. After eight years of waiting, there are only two things that can stand in her way - an assassination attempt and a new game-changing drug.

Talisen's invented a new elixir that creates superhumans, ones that can rival vampire strength, and everyone wants it. Including the vampires. With Willow's life on the line, he makes a deal with the devil, one she's forced to accept

Intoxicating Magic Willow Rhoswen is finally coming to terms with the fact that Talisen - the healer she thought was the love of her life - has left town and is trying to move on when a rogue vampire poisons three of Allcot's guards. With his most trusted security team on the verge of death, the notorious Cryrique leader orders Willow to bring Talisen back to New Orleans before it's too late.

But when she gets to her hometown of Eureka, California, Willow once again finds herself the target of her brother's murderer. And suddenly no one is who they seem. With spies, secrets, and undercover missions to navigate, Willow's determined to not only survive but to do whatever it takes to protect the ones she loves, all while hopefully getting her happily-ever-after.

That damn Willow

This book was a drag to listen to. From the very beginning, all you hear is Willow complaining, whining, and being a big baby. The only reason i listen to the book to the very end was because i paid for it and i didn't want to waste my money. The vampires should have just kill Willow maybe that book was have been good.

wow

when I picked up this series is was worried it would not live up to what I wanted. some of the review were harsh on the kindle side. people when dissing willow and how she acted but I have to say I was captured by this series from the beginning. by the second book toward middle of the book a few part started my tears and I was torn of which male I was rooting for . I loved how it worked out and won't ruin it but just to say don't stop early you need to finish and have tissues handy as well. )the author made the book suspenseful just when you thought you had it figured out what was going on a curve ball was throw, but it all came together and created a great book. the person who narrated was awesome and brought the characters to life. Bravo to all

Almost ok story ruined by amazingly awful heroine.

The story might almost be decent if I hadn't developed an almost holy hatred of the main character. Willow spends about half of all her time complaining and whining about how she isn't helpless and then promptly needing rescued. I found myself rooting for the bad guys to just murder her already.

So bad I couldn't even finish reading

What would have made Crescent City Fae: Complete Boxed Set (Books 1-3) better?

The heroin of the story whines about everything from head to toe and judges everyone from start to finish she was not a heroin at all but just an annoying character. The narrator spoke so slowly that you just want to tell her "come on hurry up let's go" and the storyline was plain and awful. I have never given such an awful review for any book but this one definitely merits it. Don't waste your time or money on this series!😡

Would you be willing to try another one of Gabra Zackman’s performances?

Should she read as slowly and breathe as she did on this book then no I would never care to hear her voice again.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Sooooo disappointed, requesting my money refunded.

Any additional comments?

Do not waste your time on this series. I'm usually in avid fan of audiobooks in the fantasy and horror genre but this was just ridiculous. Horrible whiny heroin needed everyone to save her at every turn around and was so judgemental with every character in the book.

Can't do whinny heroine's!

The main character is clueless. She is a weak, whinny drama queen! Very hard to finish! She put her friends and family into danger time after time with her selfish decision! Phoebe should be the heroine she at least has a back bone. The only reason I continued to listen was I had a long drive and it was a cheap.

enjoyable

it was a good story, I enjoyed the plot. it got a little wordy at times, but that was mostly due to my desire to see what happened next. the reader needed a little more inflection in her voice and had a bit of a whiny tone at times, but overall, enjoyable.

Stunning series

With interesting characters in interesting situations, this series has completely charmed me. Over the three books, we see Willow and Tal fight mortal enemies to overcome and prevail.

Ganda Zackman does a wonderful job narrating these three stories although her pronunciation of the word ‘forward’ drove me dilly!

Highly recommended for young adult upward who have a love of stories with a HEA (eventually!) About vampires, witches and fairies.
