A word-of-mouth best seller which has become one of the best-loved and most-successful books in the parenting field. In this expanded and updated edition, Steve Biddulph shares and gives practical and honest advice to parents so they can recognise the different stages of boyhood and learn how to raise happy, confident, and kind young men. Boys need to be parented in a different way from girls with their own very special psychological and physical make-up. Home, society and education have failed boys badly - and these failures lead to unhappy men who cannot fully become happy, responsible, emotionally-confident adults.
While it is essential that boys spend more time learning about manhood from their fathers, Biddulph updates his classic to include helpful information for mothers and single mothers with baby boys. This extended edition explores some important topics:
Raising Boys offers parents real-life situations, thought-provoking insights, humour, and help.

So really good tips about raising boys, especially good for first time parents. I will be revisiting this book as my boys grow up.
A valuable listen for all those with boys in their lives. Very thought provoking. Recommended
Really impressed by this book. Not only did I learn about raising my son, but I learned a lot about myself and how I was raised, the issues I went through and what to do when my son and other young men I'm able to support go through the same thing. Highly recommended to all fathers of sons and mothers too.

this book helped me look at raising my young boys a different way! it made me look at myself and my father and the way I've been brought up, it gave moments if enlightenment as I recognised the problems young boys have growing up and the effects it had on me.
I recognised how I can take an active engaged role in upbringing of my children and all boys and men in my life.
I would encourage parents of teenage boys to listen to this book. worthwhile insights into the world of teen boys.
My wife asked me to read this and I loved it! It helps understand a lot of mysteries and get through more tense and difficult moments in which your boy's frustration adds on to yours. Am going to be reading this again soon enough I'm sure!
Great insight into working with boys and girls.
I hope to share this with parents this week.
It is great to have the author read it.
The book has some good insights, but I found it so boring that I did not even finish it. I love listening to audiobooks, but the tone of the narrator really makes it sometimes.
Difficult to follow and sleep inducing
