I bought this book as I was hoping it would help me improve my assertiveness and make me slightly more extroverted or expressing myself more comfortably. However, as the title perhaps indicated, it seems to me this workbook is for people who have more serious shyness problems beyond the level of ordinary social awkwardness. I can't judge how good a resource it is for that purpose and therefore I rate it four stars.

ideal book

My favorite part is when it went over 'anxious thinking' and how to break your thoughts down to prevent and control your thoughts. I highly recommend this book if you have anxiety or if you have someone in your life that is suffering through anxiety as well.
