Beautiful story, wonderful characters!

Seducing the Cowboy, an Audiobook by Kennedy Fox is the touching story of Payton and Kaitlyn. They have been friends for ages. Now, Kaitlyn has decided she wants to have a child, before it’s too late. She decides to do IVF. But, Payton has other ideas…especially he’s loved her for years…

Thoroughly entertaining and full of plenty of angst and romance!!! These two characters are both selfless and devoted. But, there are so many things that could make this plan a horrible decision….

This Audiobook was beautifully narrated by Lia Langora and Tor Thom. They were able to capture the emotions of the characters as well as the underlying feelings of each. Wonderful performances!!

This has been such a fantastic series to read and listen to. Lia Langola and Tor Thom have given such life to characters for almost the entire series. The entire time I was reading Seducing the Cowboy I couldn't wait to get the audio to experience Payton and Kaitlyn in that format.

Payton is a good balance for Kaitlyn, she is Jackson Bishop's daughter after all. She may have some impulsive tendencies about herself but Payton is there as the rational thinker, the more calm one. They are perfect together.

Kennedy Fox always knows how to wrap up a series and this one was very bittersweet. I loved that Payton loves Kaitlyn so dang much yet values their friendship at the same time and doesn't want to ruin it. Seeing Kaitlyn wake up and realize what she has been wanting was right in front of her the whole time...beautiful.

I absolutely loved this series. And this ended on a awesome couple. I loved Payton and Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn knew what she wanted and didn't hesitate to go for it. Payton was attracted to his best friend. But he didn't want to lose her friendship, so he pushed his feelings aside. But when Kaitlyn decided she wanted a baby all bets were off...

As usual this was an amazing story from start to finish. And the narrators were perfect for this couple :-) Sad to know this is the end of this Series, but also that ending left me wanting so much more...

Amazing Series!

This is book 9 and last book in the Circle B Ranch Series (already?!). I love this series! Kaitlyn (Kate) and Payton's friends with benefits romance is so sweet, and heartwarming! The supporting characters are great. The Bishop's are amazing! Lia Langola and Tor Thom did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it. I am looking forward to the next generation series. I need more!!

This is Kaitlyn and Payton’s friends to lovers journey and it’s a perfect addition to the Circle B Ranch Series. I love my visits to this ranch and I adore the Bishop family so I was excited to listen to book 9 in the series and all I’m going to say is, this listen was everything I expected and more.
The narration team of Lia Langola and Tor Thom dud a wonderful job bringing this story to life and they were spot on with every emotion that runs through this story. They hit the high and the low moments and were easy to listen too.
Kaitlyn is desperate to have a baby and between her and Payton they hatch a plan to help her achieve this dream. What follows is two friends going to friends with benefits and eventually becoming lovers and honestly there were some entertaining moments along the way but what does the future hold for this adorable couple, one click now to find out.
This story ticked all my boxes, I laughed, I smiled, I swooned and I sighed as I joined the residents of the Circle B Ranch but it was the epilogue that really broke me. Great addition to this wonderful series.

Kennedy Fox has once again done an amazing job with this story. Tor Thom and Lia Langola did an awesome job bringing the characters to life. I must say that I CANNOT wait for the next generation. I highly recommend this series, you won't be disappointed

I LOVED this, Payton was Kaitlyn's perfect match!

As much as I hate to see this series end, this book was a great ending. I really enjoyed Kaitlyn and Payton's banter and connection. The steam like all Kennedy Fox books was on point.

This was the perfect way to wrap up the Circle B Ranch series. Kaitlyn and Payton’s story was everything I wanted it to be and I couldn’t put it down. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and this one hit me right in the feels.

The epilogue is PERFECTION. I loved everything about the way this series was wrapped up and I refuse to spoil anything but I’m so excited for the third generation of Bishops to get their stories! Texas Heat series, here we come!

Amazing way to wrap the series

This is the final book in the Circle B Ranch series and it's the perfect way to say goodbye to the second generation of the Bishop Family and there is even a hook into the 3rd generation which I am very excited about.

In this installment we have Payton and Kaitlyn. Payton is a ranch hand who was burned in the past by a failed relationship with a coworker. So Kaitlyn has been off limits romantically since he met her, but that hasn't stopped an epic friendship to build between them. So much so that everyone in the family thinks they're destined for each other.

Kaitlyn is out of prospects in the love department and fed up with being the only single member of the family. She loves her life on the ranch, her friends and family, but she's missing that one little bundle that will make everything perfect.

When her best friend offers a no-strings deal to make and co-parent as friends a baby they both want, it seems like the perfect arrangement. No one is going to break the rules and catch feelings... right? What kind of book do you think this is? Of course emotions will get involved and secrets will come to light and in the end we will get a happily ever after... we just have to see how long it takes our couple to see the light.

The audio was performed by Tor Thom and Lia Langola. Tor was the perfect dirty talking "let me put a baby in you" up for anything hero. I have loved Lia's performances through this whole series and her emotional journey for Kaitlyn on her trying to conceive adventure was perfect. The cautious optimism, the emotional let down for monthly negatives, the bittersweet battle when someone close to you is announcing but you're still empty... all those moments were both written and performed so genuinely.

I requested and was provided with a copy of the audiobook. These are my honest opinions.

Kaitlyn and Payton!

Kaitlyn has watched all her family find their soulmates and start their own families and she is done waiting. She has decided that she wants a baby even if she doesn’t have a man in her life and was prepared to do it the non-traditional way, but her best friend Payton didn’t agree.

After feeling the painful side of romantic love Payton knows that it isn’t an experience he wants to repeat but Kaitlyn is the most important person in his life and her happiness is all that matters. He wants to give her a baby and if they stick to the rules of their arrangement what could possibly go wrong?

The banter between them is humorous, the chemistry is hot but seeing them finally acknowledge their true feelings for each other is what made their story so special, and it is always so much fun to catch up with the family we know and love. The narrators managed to portray all the heat, humor and emotions of this heartwarming story.

My Thoughts on Seducing the Cowboy

I was very excited to get Peyton and Kaitlyn‘s story. While this is not the first time these authors have done a best friends-to-lovers book in this series, they managed to make things feel very different from the previous one. This time there was no fake, pretend relationship. And there was a whole secret plan to have a baby. But the whole while I liked both characters. There weren’t really any moments when I felt like I necessarily wanted to yell at either of them to get their act together. If anything, there were plenty of moments where I was mentally chanting for them to take a chance and take the next step while also realizing that they were such good friends and scared of losing that. Both main characters were very well layered and genuinely likable characters. And I liked Kaitlyn‘s moments of insecurity along with her fire and sass. She clearly was intelligent and certainly manage to hold her own with her brothers. But throughout the book you got these moments that you could see a different side to her, and it just made her all the more relatable. Payton through and through just continued to prove what a good guy he was. I was rooting so hard for them by the end of the story and was very happy with the ending. The narration once again was fantastic. I found that I still didn’t really mind hearing the same voices narrating each book because both narrators did such a great job and brought such a great energy and tone to the story that it felt fresh and new every time.

Bittersweet ending.

While this might be the end of the second gen of The Bishop Family, I cannot wait to see what comes from the third gen. I have completely fallen in love with this family over the years and I'm still not ready to let go. But what a way to say goodbye for now. Kaitlyn and Peyton's story was the perfect mix of angst and humour. The perfect mix of spice and sweetness. The perfect mix of getting what you want and what you need. Loved it.

Kaitlyn and Payton were just so sweet with each other - loved them together. And what chemistry! Sizzle. Yes, its a standalone but this world really needs to be read in order to get maximum enjoyment.

Wonderful Story & Listen🎧 A Charming Seduction!

It is great to be back at Circle B Ranch for another fabulous cowboy and cowgirl romance novel and to spend some quality time with the Bishops. Each book in the series features different lead characters and stands on its own but I highly recommend all the books in the series and it is a treat to enjoy them in the order written because characters from previous books make appearances in each other’s books and seeing them again is like seeing an old friend. This book brings us Kaitlyn and Payton’s story and what a delightful story it is. Kaitlyn Bishop has training horses in her blood and she loves what she does and loves working on the ranch. Payton left a terrible home situation and came to work at Circle B ranch seven years ago and has never left. He and Kaitlyn hit is off right from the start, but she is the bosses’ daughter and niece, which makes her off limits since he does not want any issues at the workplace, but that did not stop them from becoming great friends. Kaitlyn is the last single lady at the ranch, that does not bother her though, but with everyone having babies she wants one herself and looks into options to have one of her own. When Payton finds out, he comes up with an idea, a friend with benefits arrangement, until she gets pregnant and then they could co-parent together. This is a brilliant arrangement and plan, except neither one is being honest about how they truly feel about the other. I loved these two together and for each other and watching them take their relationship to the next level was a joy to watch even though they tried to deny their true feelings, but you could only deny true love for so long. This beautifully written and plotted story is entertaining and has the perfect balance of drama, some charming and heart-warming moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Kennedy Fox, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. I am sad to see this is the end of this series, but with every ending there is a new beginning and I am looking forward to what comes next in this wonderful world you created.

I love how they take each role, run with it and make their own, sounding believable and just as I picture the characters to sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the character’s emotions and project them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.
