Publisher's summary

Cami DiCarlo doesn't agree with her father that her life has been stuck in a rut, so she is not happy when he forces her hand into heading up guest services at his newest five-star hotel. The fact that he unveils the existence of four half-sisters at the same time, and insists that they live together while they launch the new resort, only makes things worse. When she meets Vince Talmadge, the sweet, sexy landscaper her father would never have approved of, Cami can't say no. If only she could be sure she is on the right track - and that they will be able to stop the person who is trying to destroy everything she and her sisters are working to build.

Stranger sisters bonding.

What made the experience of listening to A Perfect Fit the most enjoyable?

I like the idea of a group of females learning to bond. Although I bought all the books in this series, I still really am disgusted with their father. Self centered MW. I feel for all the girls that they had to learn of how deceitful their father was for their entire lives.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I don't have a favorite of the characters. They all have strong personalities and manage to mesh well under difficult circumstances.

What does Valerie Gilbert bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like most audio books . It leaves me free to work and do errands while still enjoying a book. Although she isn't my favorite narrator, she is pretty good.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Surprise sisters.

A perfect love audio

This is book 1 in a series . It’s a great audio that has it all Family drama , stepsisters , and a happy ending .
The family drama starts when the stepsisters meet for the first time in the lawyers office. The father has died and it’s the reading of the will . That is when everyone gets a shock . And that is where all the sisters meet for the first time .
The sisters don’t like what the will and their father has written . They all can’t believe that the father had daughters with other women and one didn’t know about each other . All the sisters have talents that they will need to use together. Grab it see what the will says and do the sisters do what it says .

Valerie was fantastic narrating this story. She did all the parts great . Her voice is smooth strong and clear

Love this story!

A great concept and story. It would be quite a shocker to find out,at the reading of your fathers will, that your father had other woman and thus you have other sisters you didn't know about! Lots of heartbreak, anger and love abounds in this story! Oh, and of course romance is yummy! The book is awesome, but the audible reader could be better!

very entertaining

this was a great book, twisted but fun. it's crazy how they all end up living together. I loved the characters and the chemistry between the sisters was great, however I didn't feel the tug with Vince and Cami was all that strong. but I loved the book and the narration was fabulous! can't wait for the next!

Great start to the series

Sigh, I can get behind a nice contempo series. This is an intriguing premise. Six sisters who only just found out they are sisters and have to run their father's last hotel together.

Cami is the eldest and has to deal with the shock of finding out her father cheated on her mother and had other kids. Such a tough thing to learn and deal with, especially when she hero worshiped her father. You really get a great feel for her and go through the growing pains of forgiving her father and deciding to get to know her new sisters.

Vince is a great match for her. I love his hometown feel and how connected he is with the community. He has a wonderful connection with Cami and they have chemistry in spite of her father's apparent match making.

I love the supporting cast and all the little stories going on that are sure to carry out through the series. There are plenty of hints for the other sister's romances as well as a few intrigues at the hotel. The main side story was pretty easy to predict the bad guy, but it did not detract from the enjoyment of the overall read.

While this is a romance and character's have sex, it is strictly closed door. No details for the naughty readers. I don't mind the cleaner romances, so no problem here. The fact that they do sleep together knocks it out of the Christian Romances. It is a pretty clean read though, plenty of kisses but no erotic details or thoughts.

It is a mixed narrative, so you get both sides of the story from the leads. It makes for a well rounded story.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Valerie Gilbert, who is definite favorite. I always enjoy her reads and the energy she puts into the read. She has a nice brisk pace, I never have to speed things up when listening. Her voices are varied and consistent, it is always a pleasure to see what she is going to do with a book. The women are great and the men are just deep enough without going into a false tone. She is a perfect for the series!

I am really happy to have found this series and can not wait for the other girls books. They are so different and interesting. You can pretty much see how all the pairings are going to and I adore the "Future Sons-in-law Club" they are so going down!

Story was good, performance was lacking

The story was well done and had lots of backstory that made the reader feel like the characters were people in real life. You wanted to feel invested in the characters and book. I liked that the storyline kept you on your toes too, it was a good mix of action, love and anger. The title was right on...a perfect fit.

The performance for me wasn't the best but I have also heard much worse. It wasn't so bad that I couldn't listen and I have had those books that I just couldn't listen too. The part that got to me was the drawn out way the narrator tried to read when there was drama. It just seemed like it was trying too hard and over produced.

Off to a good start

Heather Tullis is a new author to me and why that is the case, I have no idea. I have listened to narrator Valerie Gilbert before though. I found this book to be well written and entertaining and it kept me invested from the first to the last chapter.

Cami and Lana DiCarlo are reeling from the surprise of finding out that they have four half sisters they knew nothing about. Now forced together to run their father’s new hotel, Cami has no idea how her life is about to change.

Meeting Vince Talmadge, Cami is attracted to him, he’s hot and caring and makes her feel special. He was swoon worthy and I loved the sense of family throughout this story.
There is heat, spice, love, drama and some suspense as the sisters try to find out who doesn’t want their venture to succeed. .

The narrator did a credible job voicing all the characters.
