Slow burn series

I normally don’t care for cliff hangers but I’m enjoying this series! The author takes her time building these characters and their stories so I felt fully invested. Worth it!

Great story but could have been better. IDK why the female characters start out really strong and ends up as oblivious as can be then the strength is brought back like strong women can’t be affected. Of course the narrator is amazing and brought the story to life so it’s definitely worth listening to. I have enjoyed the series so far!
