Yea! The Haven Brothers are here!

Obsession Falls is the first book in the Haven Brothers series and for me after reading the Bailey Brothers series and getting glimpses of the Haven brothers I could wait to dive in! I definitely was not disappointed with this book being filled with wonderful characters and a storyline combining romance and danger to keep the pages turning.
This story is all about the grumpy, unsocial Josiah Haven and the sweet, always smiling Audrey Young. Audrey has come back home with her dog Max in tow after being laid off from her last job and unable to find employment other than for the small town Tilikum newspaper. Now she has to figure out what she really wants from her future. What she doesn’t expect is the hot brooding neighbor named Josiah Haven getting under her skin and apparently the feeling is mutual since she is rubbing off on him also. When a stalker puts her life into a tailspin Josiah can’t help but protect the woman who he can’t get enough of.
I also had the added benefit of listening to the audio version of this book and the narrators did an amazing job that absolutely added to my enjoyment of this story!

Worth the Wait

Thoroughly enjoyable with all of Claire’s trademarks. My virtual visit to Tillikum was the sweetest and uplifting and wonderfully entertaining visit. I’m already listening again to pick out all the Easter eggs and other references to our town’s occupants. I laughed out loud during the town meeting, priceless.

Sweet, Swoony and Suspenseful

With Obsession Falls, the Haven brother’s series begins. I have been waiting with bated breath for these brothers and Josiah was certainly worth the wait. This small town romance was gripping and emotional and filled with mystery and suspense.

Audrey was Miss Sunshine. No matter her circumstances, she tried to find the positive and to not let it get her down. I loved her enthusiasm and her big heart. She was the perfect match for Josiah’s gruffness.

Josiah was grumpy and a man of few words. He had been hurt by women in his past and he wasn’t looking to have his heart broken again, but Audrey captivated him from the moment they met. Aubrey appreciates his straightforward, no-nonsense approach and allows him to be himself.

These two fall into an easy friendship and I loved watching their relationship progress. When the threats towards Audrey began, Josiah’s protectiveness was so sweet and he was determined to keep her safe. I loved how they didn’t try to change one another; they just accepted one another’s quirks and made them feel accepted.

I loved the suspenseful aspect of this story and how it fed into the story. I had figured out who the stalker was, but I was surprised by the connection to Audrey.

I both listened and read this story and the audio was perfection. Connor Crais and Ava Erickson were fantastic as Josiah and Audrey. They made the story come to life and I was immediately immersed in their narration.

Obsession Falls was a sweet, swoony, suspenseful read that was full of warmth, love and family. I’m loving the Haven brothers and I’m so excited for the next brother to find his HEA.

Great start to the Havens!

Love returning to Tilikum, having the mischievous squirrels, a sweet clueless pup & the entire townspeople leading the entertainment in this one. Josiah & Audrey’s meeting was one of my favorite introductions in a book, too. I had the pleasure of listening to Connor Crais, Ava Erickson & Scott Rose bring all these characters to life.

Haven family great start

I love how the story ties other storylines together. A Haven family is definitely have interest in looking forward to the next book.

I was hoping for this!!!

I was really hoping we would get the other side! Love that it’s still part of the timeline! Ah can’t wait for the next one!

So happy to be back in Tilikum!

Loved being back in Tilikum, I loved that we got a little bit of the Bailys in this book. Every time I start a new series by Kingsley I think there is no way she can top or make me love the story or characters as much as the previous ones and she always proves me wrong.

Obsession Falls gives us Josiah and Audrey. I loved Audrey's positive disposition and Josiahs' tendency to be a grump. I loved watching Josiah and Audrey go from an embarrassing first meeting to friends and eventually to a couple.

I loved the suspense in this story and how it showed how resilient our characters were. When Audrey starts receiving threats she still manages to keep her positive outlook and Josiah shows more of his protective and caring side.

I can’t wait to see what's next for Tilikum of course the Haven Brothers!

Fantastic romantic suspense!

I loved this romantic suspense and found myself anxiously waiting for the next opportunity to listen. The story itself is excellent; I had no idea who was the antagonist. The narrators are excellent and add to the appeal of an already wonderful story!

A new Claire Kingsley favorite!

I have been a huge fan of Claire Kingsley for what feels like forever. I have read every book she's written and changed favorites a few times along the way, but dare I say I have a new favorite? I seriously adore this book so much! It is small town / grumpy sunshine / romantic suspense perfection!

I absolutely loved both Josiah and Audrey. It was so much fun to watch the stoic Josiah fall hard, and the sunshiny Audrey find everything she had always been looking for in him. The extra element of suspense had me completely addicted. I love that I didn't see the end coming (well other than the HEA...I knew Claire wouldn't let me down there)!

And while you absolutely don't need to read the Bailey books before starting this series, I loved going back to Tillikum and visiting some of my favorite fictional people! This quirky small town gets me every time from their zany history to their rambunctious squirrels and their deep love of their community. I really want to visit Tillikum!

The narration for this is perfection! The characters completely came to life with full personalities and all the emotions! I will definitely listen to this one again!

I enjoyed this book so much. I’ve loved all Claire Kingsley’s book and this is right up there with all the rest,
