Publisher's Summary

Patrick: That hair. That fucking hair. It was everywhere, always, and I wanted to tangle my fingers in those dark curls and pull - and that would be fine if she wasn't my apprentice. Andy Asani was nothing like I expected. She was exotic and scary-brilliant, and the slightest murmur from those lips sent hot, hungry lust swirling through my veins.

Andy: My wants were few - good eats, tall boots, sweaty yoga, interesting work. One incredibly hot architect with the most expressive hazel eyes I ever encountered and entirely too much talent in and out of the bedroom wasn't part of the original plan. Wine was my rabbi and vodka was my therapist, and I would need plenty of both to survive my apprenticeship. Especially with Patrick Walsh leaving love notes in the form of bite marks all over my body.

    "Great Banter and chemistry"

The Space Between is the second book about the Boston Walsh family and their architecture firm. I enjoyed the big family dynamics and love the glimpses of each family member's life that runs through these books.
The story focuses on Patrick the "OptimusPrime" of the Walsh family. He has been unable to keep an assistant or apprentice without running them off. Things change with Andy's interview where she is ready for everything he throws at her.

"I couldn’t help it; lame responses kept spewing out while my brain fixated on that voice. If aged whiskey had a sound, it would be Andy’s voice, all heady and rich, with a slow burn as it went down."

With immediate chemistry, fun banter and texts Andy tries to resist a forbidden romance with her boss and all of the messy complications that can and will entail.
I can't wait to dive into the next story and reconnect with my new favorite Boston family.

"Very enjoyable! Great follow up in a solid series"

I found myself rooting for grumpy Patrick and loved Sam and her tenacity. I could relate to their relationship of mentor and trainee and it helped make believeable their connection and the chemistry build up. This series is a true delight and am happy to have found it. The narration, as in book 1, is stellar!! These narrators are very pleasant to listen to but even more so they make their characterization seem true and real. Thumbs up!

    "Somewhere Between Great & Fabulous!"

It got even better... the series got better... and I'm officially a Walsh fan. This complicated, caring family are so authentic. And I'm so glad there's a full series. Delivered with humor and full of unique characters, this love story is nothing like youve read before. Don't miss out on this!

Fabulous on audio... of course, it's two great narrators so there's no going wrong.

I review for the Guilty Indulgence Review Site.

"Love this book and the audio!!!"

What a great audio for this book! The book itself is wonderful - steamy, funny, engaging. I loved how the narrators brought this book to life. Christian's voice as Patrick is PERFECT. He does a deep, broody voice that aligns with Patrick's persona so well. And Lucy does a fabulous job with Andy - capturing her calm, soulful demeanor. Must listen!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Space Between?

I loved the connection between Andy and Patrick. They are perfect for each other - age gap be damned.

    "Enjoyable Book"
Where does The Space Between rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I really liked the book when I read it. I didn't enjoy it quite as much as an audiobook but it was still worth a credit. I'm not sure why it didn't work as well as the book for me. The male narrator was too rushed when he read and he rarely paused for any dramatic moments. He just seemed to barrel through the whole thing too fast.

Loved the sibling banter, Andy (lead lady) was not as witty as the author liked to imply, the siblings were fantastic.
    I loved the family dynamic.
