A good romance

It had me from page one to the end. Not boring and not over the top. Just a good romance and I’m glad there is more to come.

Huge fan of Deveny Perry

I loved all of Deveny’s novel thus far. This is a wonderful start to a new series. Quite the surprise twist to the killer. Definitely didn’t guess who the killer was, totally thought it was someone else. Excited to hear the stories of the other Eden siblings. Assuming Knox is next. 🤞🏻

Great start to a new series!

This book was great! It had romance and mystery and action and humor. The narration made it even better! Highly recommend!!

I couldn’t stop listening!

I listened to this as an audiobook and it was AMAZING.

For anyone contemplating the jump to audiobooks, this is a great book to start with. The dual narration, the mystery/thriller vibes, the steam!! All of it will have you hooked!

What I loved:
1. The fact the book started off with a bang! In the back of a truck, no less! Lol. That the two main characters spend a lot of the book getting back into the steamy stuff sets up for some INCREDIBLE tension. I live for that shit.
2. That both leads are strong, independent, motivated, and yet they don’t try to hold each other back or overpower one another. The author creates a beautiful balance that’s executed superbly in the way that both of them encourage each other and trust each other.
3. The murder mystery! Gah! I was freaking HOOKED trying to figure out “whodunit”!

If you are looking for a series that puts an emphasis on community, love, and small town vibes—this one is a no-brainer. Go for the DL!

This is well written and a great who done it! It had a lot of fade to black scenes, so it was light on the spice. But still a great read.
