Publisher's Summary

Here's a tip: never trust a jackass in preppy clothing.

The phrase "trust me" should have been my first clue to hightail it out the door, but hindsight is always 20/20.

So there I was, on a stage with two other men, being asked ridiculous questions by a woman I couldn't see, but whose voice made my pants tighten - and not around my ankles.

Before I knew what was happening, I'd signed up for six weeks in paradise, isolated on an island for 42 days with a complete stranger. And when I finally laid eyes on the sexy brunette who belonged to that voice, a part of me thought this wouldn't be so bad.

I've always been a levelheaded guy. I am a successful, smart, and shrewd business man. But that was when I was listening to the head above my shoulders. Once the blood traveled south, I always ran into trouble.

She called me Mr. Wrong, and that was fine with me.

Lesson learned: lust always trumps logic.

Finding Mr. Wrong is a contemporary romance standalone novel meant for listeners who are 18+ due to mature content.

Romance, Anger, and Fun to be had--great story-4/5

This is my first experience with a story written by Lexie Richmond, C.A. Sorensen.

I have given up on Romance novels--they are just so predictable. But this is more of a life happenstance. It is a funny, believable story of Brae and Jude being pushed together and seeing where life takes them.

A very enjoyable book--love the anger and humor evolve.

Lexie Richmond & C.A. Sorensen did an excellent job narrating

Fun and sexy Romance!

This unique, sweet and sexy romance was a fun combination of The Dating Game meets The Bachelor. Brae and Jude are both wheedled into participating in a game to find their true spark. Brae picks Jude, thinking he is Mr. Wrong, and she will be able to walk away after she wins the prize money. Jude is forced into going along with it by his prankster best friends. But neither of them could see what would happen as they spend time together in a romantic beach cottage. Sweet Brae is determined to complete this game so she can help her family. But she is no match for sexy, swoony, Jude. This was a cute and steamy story that had me totally engaged from the very beginning.
I really enjoyed Lexie Richmond, and C.A. Sorensen's narration. Lexie brought out the stress that Brae was under and her transformation from needing to be in control to being laid-back and enjoying herself. Sorensen easily moved from workaholic to jealous protector. I must say that I also loved his accent. Richmond and Sorenson make a great team and I had fun listening to their work.

So much fun!

Finding Mr Wrong had me laughing so many times. Her quirks. His candidness. Their time on stage. 🤣🤣🤣.

He has no desire to be Mr Right to Brae or any other woman. She’s done with relationships and is seeking Mr Wrong. Their story is filled with attitude, innuendo (and often blatant sexual conversation), mishaps and denied chemistry 🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Be prepared for their stressors to triggers laughs and their banter to make you laugh harder. Getting to know each other was never so fraught with tension and heat!

Fun! Fun! Fun! And a great supporting cast of characters!

Fantastic storyline

I loved this storyline and these characters. My one and only reason for less than five stars is the male narration. I couldn’t connect him with the character. He just didn’t sound right. But in saying that, I know how difficult it would have been to find a narrator that could nail the Swedish accent.

It’s meh

The story would have worked if it wasn’t for the female character. I don’t blame the narrators for this, I blame bad writing of the female character. She is annoying and just complains about everything. She has this inner monologue that’s just so annoying, it made it really hard for me to get through the book. She wants to be independent but sounds like a whinny little girl that didn’t get her way. I really liked Jude and all his friends. I even enjoyed her friends my problem was with Brie. I could not tell if the author was going for a strong female lead, weak or just plain annoying. Either way the author did manage to make the character annoying and dumb. I really didn’t understand how Jude fell for her because again the whole time she is selfish, paranoid about everything he does and says. Jude comes off more sympathetic than her and he is a “rich privileged man”. Yet his character comes off more relatable than Brie. I am going to read the other books hoping the author just wrote this female lead wrong. Again good concept horribly executed with the female lead character.
