Publisher's summary

When Shay Zucconi’s step-grandmother died, she left Shay a tulip farm—under two conditions.

First, Shay has to move home to the small town of Friendship, Rhode Island. Second—and most problematic since her fiancé just called off the wedding—Shay must be married within one year.

Marriage is the last thing in the world Shay wants, but she’ll do anything to save the only real home she’s ever known.

Noah Barden loved Shay Zucconi back in high school. Not that he ever told her. He was too shy, too awkward, too painfully uncool to ask out the beautiful, popular girl.

A lifetime later, Noah is a single dad to his niece and has his hands full running the family business. That old crush is the farthest thing from his mind.

Until Shay returns to their hometown and turns his life upside down.

CW/TW: absentee parent(s), brief mention of parent death, brief mention of parent chronic illness, mention of incarceration, mention of temporary foster care placement, reference to teenage teasing/bullying (not detailed, not explicit), brief incidence of fat-shaming, living with a neurodivergent child.

Produced by One Night Stand Productions.

Fifty Shades of Jam

I’m really glad I stuck it out, but I definitely got bored with all the “fifty shades”-type scenes. Don’t get me wrong, I’m here for that type of content, but wow was there a lot of it. The actual story and characters were great…just had no clue what I was in for. Really happy I didn’t give up because there were unexpected twists along the way, but if graphic romance scenes aren’t your “jam,” you’ve been warned!

Perfection

A perfect story of coming home, of made family, of healing and self discovery, of a no apologies plus sized heroine and a wolf of a hero in formerly ugly duckling clothing, of sex toys and positivity, of funky earnings, of forced proximity and second chances all wrapped up in pair of perfect performances.

Too Much Angst

Shay's endless self-doubt for hours of this book grew rather tiring. Noah and Imogene were great! Glad I took a chance on this book, but I am not sure I will listen again.

What a Jem!

this book had everything with a love story that had detail to it. You will fall in love with the hero of the story, he literally can't get any better. And the bouts of humor in the book with the potty mouthed 6ish year old so funny. The narration was perfect. 100% worth the credit.

This book is my JAM

I LOVED THIS BOOK. Just adored everything about it. This is a small town, single, dad, grumpy sunshine romance is just what I needed and the narrators made this story shine. Jason Clark and Kit Swann were amazing narrators and I couldn’t have asked for a better story

❤️❤️❤️ This one!!!

❤️❤️❤️ this one! The story is remarkable and the characters are amazing! The author did a wonderful job with this full fledged story. I loved the story and all the antics throughout. This is a definite favorite and it will be listened to over and over. Oh how I love these characters! I came to feel different emotions for all the characters. I laughed (a lot), harbored hope then became frustrated but always ended with a smile.

The characters are just darn likable or should I say lovable. I easily became invested in the farm and the life they were looking forward to having. I *really* liked Noah. Such a little charmer and always so earnest. I loved his inner dialogue. Plus he has that outstanding niece. Shay had a lot of growing to accomplish and I enjoyed watching her change and grow. All the secondary characters had an important role and easily became memorable but did not overpower the two main.

I listened to this on audio. Kit Swann and Jacob Morgan did an outstanding job as narrators. The vocal inflections added a lit to the story. I especially am favorable to the enthusiasm of done with Jenny’s character.

Well done to all! I now have another book to add to my favorites! This feel good story adds many hours of laughs.

Five stars

I regret to say that I tried to return this a few chapters in. I am so thankful that audible did not let me do that. I grew to love the story. Heartwarming and sweet. Please tell me where I can find a cute little town like friendship to visit.
