Loving these Characters

These are well-crafted stories with great characters! I fell in love with the Gifted One's series and am now working my way through the Immortal Guardians.

I absolutely love this this series

I like how are the characters in in the books are thou out, Diane Duvall is a great narrator she is full of emotions when she reads...witch makes all the more a totally book you have to listen too...

If you like Black Dagger Brothers by JR Ward or Midnight Breed series by Laura Adrian you'll like the "world" created by Dianne Duvall.

Love it!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Fearless heroines. Love a character who fights for what she wants and is not a victim needing rescue by the hero. I really like that Melanie looked beyond others characters hate for Sebastian and explored their growing relationship with gentle prods to determine his true feelings.

AN ADDICTIVE PULSE POUNDING PARANORMAL TALE

Loved each and every book so far but I advise listening to them in order to get the most out of the Immortal Guardians and each of their adventures.

Bastien is a hunky, handsome, misunderstood Immortal who's still brooding on delusions from decades past which has led him to be the most disliked Immortal and is alienated by his fellow Guardians, and that of course just makes us like and root for him - the hurting underdog - all the more. This book contains an action packed storyline that's full of suspense, intrigue, passion and humour that has me begging Ms Duvall for more more more please.

Worth a credit? Yes definately and if you liked Lords of The Underworld and/or The Black Dagger Brotherhood then I'm sure you'll think so too (but if you haven't heard of these books before.... firstly, where have you been? and then secondly, check them out ASAP!!).

Melanie and Bastion

I love this series. There is always a compelling romance and lots of action. More than that, there are little hints of the story's trajectory that tease and titillate. The writing and performance are excellent

I have already listen to it twice. I like where the storyline is going

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

Just as good as the first two, love all the characters

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

Yes, this is the best

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

Yes, I loved when they tracked down the bad guy and Amy was able to get her revenge.

Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Organic Vegetarian Propaganda

Don't get me wrong, the story is pretty interesting and, while the 'vampire' meets girl base is trite, it has a unique enough twist to make reading worth while. HOWEVER; if I hear one more time how dangerous non-organic food is I might stab myself in the eyeball. It's odd how big of a plot point the organic vegetarian diet is.
I've also turned the author's penitent to use heart-rate in conjunction with arousal into a drinking game. Just saying.

an all nighter kinda read

loved it is not a phrase that sufficiently describes my love for this series or this story. heart pound, dear gripping, enthralling, perhaps all of those words combined my do the job, yet it still seems unfitting. Diannes work is untouchable, and leaves you with a breathless feeling of awe, and wanting more.My days of reading this series , will be ongoing, reading the series just once would simply be a sin of the most grevious kind.

Great series, totally worth it!

I have to say that as of late I have been dissapointed with what is out there to read...I like a good romance, but am SOOO sick of rich boy meets virginal girl...thank GOD this book isn't like that! I have to say this whole series surprised me in a very good way. You get the heat, the romance, and a very interesting vampire world that has been created for you with great charachters...kind of reminds me of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Overall, I think this is a great series and book.

second time is even better

I listened to this series back when it was on audible escape. I loved this and continued purchasing the books as the series continued through the lasarian series. the character development, dialogue and banter is spot on and reminiscent of shows like Firefly and Angel but with more depth and steam. I am now returning to the begining of the series and purchasing these to listen for the socond time. I do not often re-listen or re-read fiction books, this is the highest compliment I can give!
