Publisher's Summary

A standalone romance focusing on a new couple - and guest starring all the I Married a Billionaire characters you know and love!

Marrying a kinky billionaire wasn't exactly in my 10-year plan.

Benjamin Chase is not my type. He's abrasive. He's arrogant. He doesn't take anything seriously. I'd die before I dated him, but he has something different in mind.

He has to get married in the next nine months, or he loses his company to his ex-wife. And apparently I'm the most eligible bachelorette in town. If I accept I'll have a fortune and the opportunity to prove my acting skills with the role of a lifetime. But I also have to accept Ben's quirks - including the fact that he prefers his women bowing and scraping in a ridiculous parody of gender roles I thought we left behind, oh, several decades ago. I have absolutely no intention of submitting in private, but I'll have to be by his side at all the right clubs and parties - pretending to be his property. He says it's all a game, but my head says to run away.

My heart, on the other hand...not to mention certain other parts of me...secretly craves his discipline. I have to keep reminding myself that it's not really on offer. This is all just an act.

Isn't it?

Disappointing and a true waste of money

What disappointed you about I Married a Master?

The story had SO, so much potential to be amazing. It started of with a very refreshing storyline and some very endearing characters. Then all of a sudden the author was skimming over some vital plot elements. Very disappointed!

Not as good as others

This book was a let down, so slow and not as good as others by same author.

Not my cup of tea, but well done narration.

I thought I'd give this book a try. It was either free or extremely cheap and I thought "why not?". However, this is not a genre I read. I don't feel I can critique the story as it's just something I don't care for. However, I thought the narration was very good. So for those that enjoy this type of erotica book the narration was well done and I think if it's up your alley you will enjoy.

A real snoozer!

It was difficult to finish the story. What a bore.... The narration was good. If the lead character was a Master, then Mickey Mouse is a Dom!

DISLIKE AT FIRST SIGHT BUT SIZZLES TOO.... OH YUMMY

This was a great story to get lost in - these Billionaires get me every time and it's not their money that does it. Handsome, sexy, confident, all Alpha but desperate Ben needs a wife quickly because there's a lot at stake and, for some reason, he can't quite get the feisty woman he briefly met, whilst buying the same flavor ice cream, out of his mind because she gave back as much verbal abuse as he gave. But it wasn't a friendly encounter as they growled, snapped and glared at each other. Jenna is a wannabe Actress but so far she's had no luck finding a part and she's haunted with thoughts of the handsome, arrogant, pushy, obviously stinking rich and rude man she had the misfortune to bump into at her local Store. Then a chance meeting, a proposition and a handshake sealed the deal..... for $2 she was going to act the part of his loving wife for 2 years. Then fate and destiny could finally unveil their sneaky plans and reveal some hidden secrets.

The day Jenna found out about Ben's sexual Sub/Dom tendencies it initially made her rethink the whole deal but the more she thought about it the more 'interested' she became and unbidden desire made her seek out answers and Ben was a very willing and capable Teacher..... because the electricity that flowed between them made them both humm with desire, desire that was going to reshape beliefs, alter lives and change futures.

The romance was very nicely done and the sex scenes were hot but weren't raw erotica - yes there was a little bondage once, play acting and spanking but they had a 'lighter' feel and were all lovingly done. Both Jenna and Ben's character development was subtle as they learnt more about each other's lives but this was all done through anger, resentment, gritted teeth, quick-witted banter, scorching kisses and confused feelings. Back and forth they went with differing life expectancies caused by very different backgrounds which resulted in some snappy dialogue all while behind the untruthful facade to their true feelings of passion, pleasure, awakening desires and eventually love. But the final really romantic twist, that destiny so cleverly revealed, was on their Honeymoon which opened up the floodgates of their shared heart's true desires.

Worth a credit? Dual POV, good narration, an amusing, sexy and slow-building romance filled with sizzling chemistry which led to a highly charged love story and made this a very enjoyable listen which was definitely worth a credit.

Cute story AWESOME Narrator!!!

I'm going to say it. I BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE OF THE NARRATOR. She is SO good! she gives her narration such life and color.

The story was also very well done. Cute, sweet and not so sweet at times. * wink wink*

I had higher hopes

The story sounded intriguing and so I decided to invest a credit into it. The book was not terrible, it just lacked originality. A shadow of Fifty Shades and ironically enough the author even brought up the name in her story. Mild sexual content and a bit predictable storyline. Not the best written book, however I was still entertained listening to it. The narrator was also not great at doing male voices which initially held me back from really trying to get into the story. I can't say I recommend this book if you have already read Fifty Shades or books similar to it, but if you have not I think you will enjoy this book.

Okay

Not one of the best books I have listened to but equally not the worst. The story is weak & nothing really seems to happen. Even the sex is not very exciting which given the subject matter is shocking. I was more interested in Maddie's story than this one. Billionaires is just something that doesn't work well as it really is so far off of reality. Also as much as I love an alpha man being spanked really does not 'float my boat' & to be honest nothing in this story convinced me that I am wrong. As much fizz as yesterdays lemonade in the fridge.
