WREN

Moms are good at one thing: the guilt trip. It’s the only reason I’m at the funeral of a man I’ve never had anything to do with.

I’ll show up, make her happy, and get out.

At least that’s what I think until I learn daddy dearest has left me a crap load of money and the obligation to learn about the family business. All from his eldest son who looks nothing like the rest of us.

Darcy is the only Ritcherson who doesn’t treat me like the bastard son that I am. He helps me learn, pushes me to be better, and as we work together, we grow closer. For a gazillionaire with a media empire at his fingertips, he’s surprisingly humble.

And sweet.

And saying things he shouldn’t be saying.

The thing is, Mom swears she was never a mistress. Swears she was the only one Dad was seeing when she fell pregnant with me. But with Darcy only a few weeks older, there’s no way that can be the case.

Unless …

Unless the things he whispers when he thinks I’m not listening mean something. The guilt in his eyes when he looks at me would make sense.

If Darcy isn’t my father’s biological child, he’s not the Ritcherson heir.

I am.

And everything Darcy holds dear should be mine.

Little different twist on familiar plot

So many gay romance novels have the same plot and stepbrother plots are plentiful. This one was a little more complicated than others but in the long run it's still a HEA romance novel. I prefer something unique, darker and more stimulating. Still it's a good read and I think the narrators were fine but I prefer just one narrator and a single POV.

Brilliant

Great story! The narration could have been better, when wren was narrating it was great but when Darcy narrated, Wrens character was too rough and demanding

Needed Duet narrating

The story was ok. the narrating really had me shaking my head. this book right here is a prime example of why there should be more duet narrating. the writing of this duo is always really good, but this time the story telling kinda knocked it down a few pegs. I love both of these narrator's I just wish they had both only read their characters parts. can't love them all... this one was okay.

Perfect

I have waited for the audiobook and it did not disappoint. Narration brought life to the perfect story.

Loved It

Saxon James and Eden Finley never disappoint, whether they are writing together or apart. Another hit out of the ballpark.

Wonderful story, awesome performance

Finley and James are quite the dynamic duo; almost every title of theirs I've listened to I enjoy immensely - especially when they have great performers like Liam DiCosimo and James Joseph (I love when he's poking fun and does the accent of an American attempting to do an English accent) Ren and Darcy were a joy to follow in their rocky journey to their HEA...the supporting characters were amaze balls - especially cousin Remmy! And you gotta love Darcy's mom...throughout most of the book every time she appeared I would roll my eyes but at the end she defintely came thru! What a mama bear she was - a prepared one at that!

5 stars - worthy of a repeat listen

I enjoyed this book. To bad characters were so scared of love. Great listen. Worth the credit.

edge of your seat love story.

I tend to read the last page of a book to lessen the anxiety when reading it. but I really love it when I do that and I'm still freaking out "oh my gosh, are they going to make it?"
I was a little concerned when I started the book because I didn't think eden and Saxon would write THAT kind of story, so I just went with it. they did not disappoint. such an amazing story. the chemistry these two had was perfect.

Mixed bag

I’m still not sure whether I liked the story or not. I didn’t mind the Dom sub dynamic, although I missed the lack of balance of tenderness between the main characters. The narration by two different narrators didn’t always work. The voice of Ren was believable and enjoyable, but when the voice of Darcy would try to read Ren lines. It sounded nothing like the other narrator, and that threw me out of the story every time.
