Brutal Arrangement is book 3 in the Brutal Billionaires series and even though I didn’t read the first 2 books, I didn’t feel like I missed anything so you can definitely read as a standalone. I saw the tropes for this and was sold. I will eat up anything that is ex’s brother type. This was also my first book from Laurelin Paige and it turns out I love her writing. It was VERY SPICY.

Riah has had a complicated relationship with Hunter. They were together but she knew that he was seeing other people. Then he had a change and proposed being exclusive with her. While she thought he was committed to her, it turns out there were still other women. But their intertwined life made it hard to leave so they kept putting on a show.

Alex is Hunter’s brother and steps into the role as Riah’s brand manager. And he pushed her to be sexier and the way he did it was, phew, so hot! Alex brought out a side of Riah that he hadn’t discovered but grew to love. The closer they got, the more intense things got. Their sneaking around and secrets made it more thrilling. I was burning up the entire time listening to this! This wasn’t any sweet romantic s-e-x, they really brought out the dirty in each other. They did truly love each other though and it took them a while to admit that.

The audio was so good, I didn’t realize how well these narrators would do as this strong alpha billionaire. And holy crap, the way that Elena Wolfe added the vocals into the narration. SLAYYED!

Loved this book!!

Riah and Alex are perfect for each other and I fell in love with them!
Such a well written book with developed characters and storyline. I love the Sebastian’s! They are alpha male and know what they want. As always Laurelin always writes addictive books! And the narrators were perfect and I loved them ❤️

Love hate exploring fun

I enjoyed this love hate relationship. Fun banter, sometimes mean. I enjoyed this from beginning to end.

Good but long

The storyline was good, but it was overly long. Steam was good but the deprecation was a real downer.

Loved this forbidden romance!

Riah and Alex's intoxicating and seductive forbidden love story took my breath away! Riah is trying to revive her music career after stepping back to raise her younger sister after the tragic loss of their parents. Hunter Sebastian needs to clean up his image, so he and Riah make an arrangement. They were dating for awhile but after his infidelity, they are together for needed events only. Alex is Hunter's younger brother. They have stuck together through a heartbreaking childhood. But when Hunter betrays him, Riah might be his answer. Riah has little control over her life and career. She is trying to be a good role model for her sister, while trying to be true to herself and her music. Alex is her Branding manager, and their attraction is undeniable. But his mercurial actions confuse her, but doesn't stop her from wanting him. Alex always wished he had met Riah first. When they finally give in to the sparks they have tried to ignore, they are fire together! But Alex doesn't want to be second choice to Hunter again, and Riah doesn't want to be a pawn for the Sebastian's. Can they really trust each other and find their forever love? I loved Riah and Alex together! The transformation they undergo as individuals and as a couple is so intriguing, and captivating, I couldn't get enough! I loved Riah's growth and confidence, and Alex's courage to be vulnerable. Riah's sister was fun as well, and seeing more of the Sebastian family makes me excited for what comes next.
Paige wrote a beautifully poetic and unforgettable love story. Every scene seductively embraces you, holding you in complete rapture. I loved every word of this beautiful, passionate, poignant, and super steamy romance!
Elena Wolfe, Robert Hatchet, JF Harding, and Sarah Pederson's narration added so much depth to these characters in this breathtaking romance, bringing it to life so clearly. The way Wolf and Hatchet portray Riah and Alex's complex relationship, making me feel all the angst, heartbreak, hope, and passion they felt was brilliant. Harding was so convincing as the self serving Hunter and Pederson shined in her narration debut as Riah's sister Whitney. I was completely captivated by their performance.
