A sweet forbidden romance

I was expecting much more kink than sweetness but I was happy with this story and it’s narrators.

Charlie and her boyfriend Beau were broken up before she met Beau’s estranged father Emerson. There was an attraction immediately but nothing could come of it since Charlie is 21 and Emerson is 40 years old. Besides, Emerson is her ex’s father so all thoughts just have to remain a fantasy…or does it is?

I like that the relationship wasn’t salacious, and the power dynamic felt very light. I dare say that this relationship felt like two lonely people connecting on a deep level. Their chemistry was good but the mental and emotional connection put this story on another level for me. I felt happy for Charlie that Emerson really listened and observed her because he was a kind, considerate and protective man. This story was a win for me.

Just go in knowing this is BDSM light!

Shook beyond belief

First, I got say I was shook at the twists and turns of this story. Audio was intimidating at first, but by chapter 5 I was invested. i only wish it had been a duet reading because mtf voice changes feel like nails on a challboard in general. (Butcher and Blackbird have ruined me in that regard😅) Jack and Vivenne did a hell of a great job and kept me shocked, red faced, and sometimes even laughing at the banter.

The overall storyline is SO good. Similar to 50 shades, but she's not a virgin, and it goes deeper into the lifestyle, the relationship, and the stigma people face to get their needs met in a healthy and safe way. 40yM owner of a kink club/21yF exgf of his son concept was cringe at first but the ex was absolute trash compared to his dad. He builds her confidence back from her previously toxic relationship and I'm so in love with Emerson Grant.

It has LGBT elements that fucking made me melt. It promotes communication, love, acceptance, responsible sex and drinking habits, and the concept of empowering women. Spice is definitely 5/5. The restraint and adament need for consent and importance reciprocation is made known by the author It was educational while also 🔥 🌶, and it encompasses the bdsm lifestyle perfectly. So ready for the next book. Totally worth TBR.

I’m a sucker for “good girl”

LOVED this more than I thought I would. I hadn’t read many age gap romances, but that made this one even better. Praise does in fact go a LONG way. Whether or not you think you do/don’t like it…please give this book a try.

I decided to get outside my comfort zone and I’m so happy i did! I love this book and can’t wait to start the next!!
