Hooked from the beginning!

I have read multiple books by Laurelin Paige and have enjoyed all of them. Slay, the Complete Series is my first audiobook by Laurelin Paige. I had heard so many wonderful reviews that when Slay, the Complete Series came out in audio as a set I jumped on it. Edward Fasbender is the worst “alpha” I have ever read/listened to. But, in the end I had completely changed my tune about Edward. Celia Werner’s father owns Werner Media (he thinks he does anyway). Celia is not the nicest person thanks to how she was treated in the past by a man she was in love with. She now spends her time running an interior design business which barely pays the expenses. Neither Celia nor Edward are very nice in the beginning. There was just something about these two that I just couldn’t stop listening to the story. The story just kept getting better and better. Elena Wolfe does a great job as Celia. Shane East is the voice of Edward. OH MY GOODNESS, how I love a sexy British voice and Shane East delivers an amazing performance. I am not normally a reader of dark romance or enemies-to-lovers but wow, this series was amazing. I totally recommend this series! 5 stars*****

First Complete Series

Story was different for me but I enjoyed it. I almost stopped reading because I didn't like how evil the female character seemed in the beginning... but decided to keep reading maybe she would change and she did. The male main character was too full of himself and got in my nerves a couple of times but over all good story.

Brilliant Author!! I had gotten chills often during this book. The depth of Edward was completely overwhelming...Best book I've ever listened to!! It's a must!!!!!

WOW!

I came across this book while looking up one of the narators and fount it had another narrator I love but under another name. this I the first book that I've listened to with the female narrator"Andi" is somewhat a bad girl and I loved it! also this is my first book with this author, love the writing style, the whole book was literally a video in my mind as I listened. last but not least I LOVED the narrators they picked for this story, they fit perfect with what I was imagining and their voices. this book set really grabs you and pulls you in, keeps you on the edge of your seat, and you may love the characters then hate them and then live them again! This book set, it will definitely be listened to again!
