Loved it!

This was a very enjoyable and fun book! It is the 4th book of the series, which I recommend - especially if you enjoy Nora Roberts. (Note: this series is in the romance novel genre, which I only mention because she also writes romantic suspense / mystery novels, futuristic novels, fantasy and many other types of novels, novellas, etc.). I love the characters in this entire series and have been really enjoying their individual journeys.

Convincing Alex

Nora Roberts tales are so wonderful. I have read this story many times over the years and love the characters. For the most part I enjoyed the reading - the narrators voice gets on my nerves when she tries different accents - but I survived.

Story is better than the synopsis

I really enjoyed this story in the series.
I loved Bess it's nice to have an unusual looking lead lady with a big character.
I liked Alex better than I imagined I would, having listened to some of the other stories I had a preconceived idea and that was turned about.
Although I think the narrator is good, I would be more engaged with each story if i heard some different voices narrate; as when you listen to the series they become a bit similar.
