Publisher's Summary

Take one heartbroken Chicago girl

Literary editor Antonia Harper had it all - the career, the man, the future. That was then. Now Antonia is jobless, alone, and at a crossroads. What better time to travel the world? A solo honeymoon on the Emerald Isle will be like hitting the reset button. No distractions, no drama.

Add some luck o' the Irish

Aiden Byrnes may be a literature professor, but words fail him when he meets the woman staying in the cottage next door. Tully Cross is meant to be a sleepy little village, and he's meant to be on a working holiday - not a vacation, and most definitely not with his beautiful neighbor.

And you get some mighty good craic

They say laughter is the best medicine - and as it turns out, super-hot sex isn't so bad either. Antonia and Aiden's spark quickly grows into what could be something special, if they're willing to take the leap. Ending up an ocean apart is unthinkable, and when real life comes calling, there's no ignoring that leap anymore.

Sweet story but...

With the multitude of amazing black female narrators out there, surely there is one that could also manage an Irish accent. The meager non-effort on this really just soured the performance for me.

Ruined by the narrator

This was a pretty cute story and my personal dream (the Irishman part, not the fiancé part). The main characters could be a bit annoying at times but the story itself is cute and enjoyable. What’s NOT ENJOYABLE AT ALL is the narrator’s TRULY AWFUL, half-hearted attempt at an Irish accent. It’s genuinely painful to listen to and is very distracting. She also flat out mispronounces some works (craic, Claddagh, Galway, etc.). Had they found an Irish narrator to do half the book, it would have made a big difference.

Great

I really liked this book and would recommend it. It had a great storyline and sexual storyline. I wish this book was a movie or TV show.

The author is a great writer and the narrator is awesome. Thus couple was a great fit and I wish the book would go on an on (lol) or at least be a series. The only complaint is that I wish God's name wasn't used in vain.

Ms. Reid keep up the good work. This this my first book by you that I have purchased and you now have a new fan!

Just right

So good l enjoyed the romantic tension spiced with the perfect amount of international and interracial exoticism. Tied in a bow of a happy ending. Okay

Worth the money

Overall great book, lots of romance, comedy, and the only complaint is the horrid accent. The reader can't execute an Irish accent, beyond that lovely book.

Great Escape

Great story, with believable characters that are relatable. It's one of the best stories I've read in a long time.

The Write Book

I loved this story. Loved the reader. And like some one else said, the reader's accent was ok. The sex was a little to graphic but I got through it. Good read. I wish these two characters story continued in other book. I'd like to read more about them.

Lovely classic romance

I am really enjoying romance novels with more mature characters. There is something say about adults who know their mind with their own inner strength. This was a beautiful love storyline without all the games of younger relationships with all the insecurities. The biggest draw back was this author’s tendency to use the Lord’s name in vain sooo much once or twice maybe but throughout the entire book was a bit much for me.
