Publisher's Summary

In one century she loved him madly, and in another she wants nothing to do with him.

In 1844 Ireland, Liam O’Connor, a rogue and a thief, fell madly in love with a squire’s daughter and unwittingly altered the future. Shy and naive Cora McLeod thought Liam was the answer to her prayers. But the angels disagreed, and they’ve been waiting for the right moment in time to step in.

Now Liam finds himself reunited with his beloved Cora in Providence Falls, North Carolina. The angels have given Liam a task. He must make sure Cora falls in love with another man - the one she was supposed to marry before Liam interfered. But this Cora is very different from the innocent girl who fell for Liam in the past. She’s a cop and has a confidence and independence he wasn’t expecting. She doesn’t remember Liam or their past lives, nor is she impressed with his attempts to guide her in any way.

Liam wants Cora for himself, but with his soul hanging in the balance, he must choose between a stolen moment in time or an eternity of damnation.

Jude Deveraux-Satisfaction Guaranteed!

As always, Deveraux never fails to satisfy! I love the new angle of angels and soul redemption. Having read every Jude Deveraux novel, I must now return to the long wait for the next book to be written and released.

Disappointing

Loved Jude Deveraux all my life so I’m very sad to write this review. It was so disappointing. Many plot wholes and unanswered questions. Felt like the ending left off in the middle of the book. Maybe they had a submission deadline and just gave what they had and published it. Someone at the publishing house should lose their job for pawning this off as a book.

Very disappointing

I like the narrator, she did a fantastic job narrating this book. I am very disappointed in the novel. Jude Deveraux is one of my favorite romance authors. I expected more then what this book gave. There’s got to be one of the worst novels I’ve read so far by her. And that is saying something, I love most of her novels written so far. I found this book lacking in every way, not much romance or excitement. Too much left unanswered. I don’t like the main male character. He gets on my nerves. The way the book ended, led me to believe that there will be a second book coming. If there is a second book, need to kick it up a notch, I’d like to see more excitement, more action in the romance department.

No ending

So disappointed. This could have been a really good book, but there were so many unanswered questions and there wan't an ending. When you buy a book, you expect the book to be complete. This was not. Don't waste your time.

What happened to the ending?

Thumbs down! Would've been a good read if the story didn't just end leaving you wondering what the heck happened.

Not my kind of book.

I normally love Jude Deveraux but I do not like soap opera books with a never ending story. I like to have an end.

Very unsatisfying

Jude Deveraux has written some of my favorite books but this one left me cold. Not only did the book not capture my interest but the ending was inexplicable. I can only assume that there will be another book that picks up the storyline but I will not be listening to it.

Story drops off without any resolution

I am a huge fan of Jude Deveraux books. I don't think she has ever left her readers hanging like this before. normally she finishes the story of her main characters & the next book in the series is about one of the other characters. This book leaves us hanging, not knowing if there is another book to come that will finish the story. I am disappointed but have faith that Ms Deveraux will come through for us in the end.
