Classic Nora Roberts

This book is a classic example of how narration can hurt a story. I really liked the story line and can't wait for the others, but the performance was just so bad. MacLeod Andrews made Nora Roberts' characters seem flat.

Overall Worth it, but the narration was a bit odd.

What made the experience of listening to The Next Always the most enjoyable?

Nora Roberts books are always easy listening.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of MacLeod Andrews?

I think a woman would have done a better job narrating. It was odd listening to a man to women's and children's voices.

Light and breezy.

Any additional comments?

This is a great book for the everyday read. I listen while I clean the house, and cook. If you get distracted by kids for a moment, you still know whats going on in the story. If you are looking for a light read this is it. Looking for something deeper? Look else where.

Great Book..

I loved this book. The narrator finally grew on me. It would have been nice to have a female narrator for the female characters but MacLeod Andrews held his own. Good romantic book. Looking forward to to seeing what happens with the Montgomery brothers and the B and B they are restoring.

Nice love story

Liked the sweet story with no need for contrived break ups or separations. Nice slice of small town life. Wish I had run into one of these brothers when I was younger.
