I had read this many years ago but didn't recognize it immediately. I thought it was something new. I was disappointed to have used a credit for something I already read. I realize I could have returned it but since I had already started listening, wrote it off to experience. The book itself was okay, but not as good as more recent books. I will examine the dates more thoroughly in the future.

Rolling my eyes

I love Nora Roberts, but could not stand this book. Schmarmy and ridiculous, I stopped listening fairly early and wish I could get my credit on Audible back.

Disappointing

I am a big Nora Roberts fan, but this book was disappointing. The story was slow and the characters were frustrating.

not as good

I wasn't enthralled with this one. I didn't care for the characters and there was far too much seriousness in this book. no comic relief

Good. Short and I wanted more. It’s good but I wish I’d noticed the length and not used a credit. My fault for not.

The heroine was exhausting and the reader was bland and the story was predictable. Not one of her best

This is probably my least favorite Nora Roberts book. Story line was slow and not very exciting.

I personally didn’t care for the characters in this story. Nicholas started out as a slimy man.

A little lame.

I found this book to be kind of lame. I finished it but it wasn’t a gripping tale like I’m accustomed to with Nora Roberts.

GOOD - BUT NOT GREAT

Another good read from Nora. I generally like Nora's characters but this heroine came off as stupid and idiotic. Good story line but I kept being distracted by Morgan's idiocy!
