Lifetime Movie

I love a good black romance novel, but this was too Hollywood. A blackman driving in a tornado....just a little too much for me to relate. The narrators were good....Jakobi did his “thang” as usual. Also there were many missed opportunities on character building. don’t know if I would purchase the next series. Another thing, the narrators more so read the book as opposed to getting into the actual characters.

Loved the book!!! I wish there was more to the ending!!! The author took it's time for to understand the couple but when it was just getting really good it seemed rushed at the end. I felt a little cheated.

NO!

The female narrator is not good at all! She takes away from the story line and the book. It was hard to finish this book. I love Jakobi Diem and will listen to anything he narrates..... but this one was not good. He could not carry her.....

Loved It

narrating , you can't go wrong. This book was okay, if not very predictable. No surprises. No real drama. It's just, okay. The two narrators elevated it.

Umm! It was just OK

My first irritation was that the author used Camilla too many times in the story. "She" and "her" would've sufficed in about 50% of the mentions. The story was rushed, and needed to be fleshed out more; the love occurred too quickly and was unrealistic. I love the narrators and they made it palatable, His Mom grilling the women upon the initial meeting about giving her sons babies added to the "umm".

Sexy characters and good chemistry, but the writing is too much

I enjoyed the characters and their chemistry. I liked their backstories. But i felt like the writing style was so bulky and overdone. Like the goal was to pack as many three syllable words into one sentence as possible, when one would do. Despite that, the narration is amazing. The voices are so well done and the actors really did their thing. It’s an enjoyable read and I will probably listen to more in the series.

Wonderful love story

This was good from the start. Learning love don't have hurt. Love with no limits.

i like the book

i follow the Jakobi and Wesleigh which is what lead me to this book. The story line ia truely romactic but it does not get as explicit as my usual erotica. But I would definitely purchase book from this author again

Amazing!!!!!

This book had an amazing story line from being to end!! It had me on the edge to hear the next part from chapter to chapter!

Not for Me

I cannot understand why this book got so many stars. I got up to Chapter 10 and the author is STILL describing the characters bodies. I get they are both very attractive but...10 chapters in..oh please... is there an actual story. I really wanted to enjoy this book ...so disappointed.

Kicking off a series with a bang

A brand new to me author and what a start! This really was a fun, cute, pretty low angst, spicy read about a CEO of an energy company and a new TV reporter. Their connection was instant even if their relationship is a bit of a slower burn. This was a whole lot of fun and a lot of threads are put down for future books in this series. Which I will be picking up. For sure.
