Publisher's Summary

Twice unlucky in love, natural hair vlogger Angela Strickland has settled into a life centered around avoiding men and relationships like the plague. Unwilling to risk another broken heart, she resigns herself to being a perpetually single woman.

Corporate man and self-professed womanizer Ryan Boye doesn't believe in relationships or love and thinks anyone who does is a fool. But there's just something about Angela Strickland he can't shake....

When these two cross paths, their attraction to one another is undeniable. Will they find that the love they've both evaded is exactly what they both need?

Contains mature themes.

Didn't disappoint.

As usual, Alexandria created characters that make you fall in love with them and want them to succeed in love and life in general. Ryan and Angie were both perfectly flawed, as well as the supporting cast, but they all made sense together. She chose the perfect narrators for this and although I've never been a fan of the Louisiana accept, Sean Crisden's voice did it justice. Great book.

Great story!

Great story, but the accents were terrible! I think it would’ve been a little easier to listen to it if the narrators narrated together, instead of separately. The mans’ imitation of the Angela was terrible, and the woman’s imitation of Ryan’s accent was even worse. Overall, still a good story, and I look forward to listening to the next book. Use the narrators from the McClain brother series.

I almost returned this because the accents were so bad! The story was great but way too short! After you get past that, the story is really good.
