Great story!

Great story, but the accents were terrible! I think it would’ve been a little easier to listen to it if the narrators narrated together, instead of separately. The mans’ imitation of the Angela was terrible, and the woman’s imitation of Ryan’s accent was even worse. Overall, still a good story, and I look forward to listening to the next book. Use the narrators from the McClain brother series.

Didn't disappoint.

As usual, Alexandria created characters that make you fall in love with them and want them to succeed in love and life in general. Ryan and Angie were both perfectly flawed, as well as the supporting cast, but they all made sense together. She chose the perfect narrators for this and although I've never been a fan of the Louisiana accept, Sean Crisden's voice did it justice. Great book.

Not as Good as the McClain Series

This was just ok. The storyline seemed rushed. I agree with all of the other reviews...the accent was HORRIBLE and very distracting. They should've brought back the same narrators they used for the McClain series.

Great book, male voice is annoying

Great characters, but the male voice on audible was so different then the woman's voice. She portayed his voice as a Nigerian man with a new Orleans accent, and the male voice sounded like a white cowboy with a twag much older then he was supposed to be.

Narrators made it difficult to enjoy the story.

Storyline was good. Narrators trying to imitate each other's accents was terrible. Barely made it through the book.

Good Book! I enjoy listening to Alexandria House’s books.

The performance by Sean was just okay. It was distracting. I believe it was his West Indies accent that distracted me from focusing on what I thought supposed to be a creole accent.

The romance happened quickly and was passionate but did not embrace me like the McLain love stories.

I am still very interested in listening to what is going to happen next. I wanted to hear more about The parents, the younger sister and her best friend, and her older sisters cheating husband.

Great story! Creole accent needed work!

I truly enjoyed the story! I love all of Alexandria House's novels! My only critique is in regards to the Angela's accent of Ryan. It was more an Island accent and definitely not Creole. Initially, I had to really concentrate because it was distracting. The male narrator for Ryan was very close to the Creole accent which I loved!
