Publisher's Summary

Galleria Stores is a huge chain of stores owned by Paul Galleria. Everyone who is anyone in Atlanta knows the Galleria family and their influence in Atlanta. Paul has three daughters- Jade, Kharisma, and Happy Galleria. This is Happy’s story.

Twenty-nine-year-old Happy Galleria is unhappy with the way her life is going. Her life plans were to be married, excelling in her career, and pregnant with her first child. However, her boyfriend, Phil, has other plans. Trying to make partner at his law firm, his plans don’t include a family, marriage, or setting roots anytime soon. Happy has always been good with remaining emotionless, but will her emotions start to show once Phil ignores her pleas for wanting more in their relationship?

While rushing to her gate for her birthday trip to Bora Bora that her sister surprised her with, Happy bumps into a man - literally. Peeved that the man has delayed her from making her flight, she yells, curses, and continues to her gate.

That man is her pilot.

Colt Wright is a pilot who has worked himself from the ground up and has just moved his family from New York to Atlanta to work with a top airline. A single father to a 10-year-old girl, and trying to keep his eye on his aging mother, Colt Wright doesn’t have time for small talk. After losing his child’s mother to cancer, he wants more than casual talk or one night stands. He wants a woman - the Wright woman.

These two cross paths and nothing may remain the same. Happy has baggage, but Colt is used to dealing with baggage, being a pilot and all. Will Happy remain Emotionless?

NEW NARRATOR PLEASE!!!!!

It has taken ALL I have to continue this book due only to the fact the female narrator is SO INCREDIBLY, TERRIBLE!!! Good gracious! I went to exchange the book before I finished the first chapter, but the network was down and it couldn't be processed. For this reason alone, I am able to say the actual story line is not bad...if you can feign selective deafness and get past the fact the narrator sounds like she's suffering from the worst cold and flu congestion of her life combined with a speech impediment and horrible grasp on voice inflections. Times the character is supposed to be sad or humble, she is overly sarcastic; each sentence sounding like there isn't an actual period behind it...it's just clipped and you're waiting to see if she was supposed to say something else before continuing on. I've NEVER heard a book where every emotion portrayed in the narrator's voice was the exact and annoying OPPOSITE of what was actually being read. WAY too much sass in all the wrong areas and forces the book to read untrue, even though the story itself is quite good, realistic and relatable. I pray they are smart enough to re-release this with an experienced narrator reading. It would make ALL the difference in the world.

Disturbed

I like the story line of the book. Jakobi D. Is an excellent narrator. He is one of my favorites. But... the female narrator was horrible. Get someone new!

Meh...

This story had the potential to be really great, but the female narrator really made this book really painful to finish. Jakobi was great as usual, but when the POV changed, it almost felt like I was listening to two different books. I wanted to love it, I really did...but this just wasn’t it for me.

Good Listen

I liked the story line and the hot sex scenes wish it was more.. but I just felt like the narrator Lacy Laurel wasn't the person for this story. She READ very fast it seem to me, but Jakobi is as always the best and keeps you on edge listening.

I’m really trying to get through this story, but the female narrator is sooo not the right fit for this book! I feel like I’m listening to a news broadcast!

I love this story line. I remember the guy in this book as Dallas from “Say My Fu****g Name. He was great in that one and his voice is sexy. Now, the female...you gotta do better. Her voice is killing me!

Just wonderful

This was the perfect love story with the right amount of drama. A man who takes care of his mom and daughter, and has been alone far to long. A woman who's man doesn't want to take the relationship further. When they bump into each other at the airport, the on the plane and then on the resort. Their meeting was fait. I love Lacy Laurel and Jakobi Diem as narrators, made me love the book even more.
