Story had me on lock lol!

I loved the narrators n the story! This is a 2nd time listen for me n I haven’t been this locked in for a while. AH knows how to do that w.her writing. I wish some reviewers would remember this is for our entertainment n stop being negative if the stories aren’t 100% reality! I love ur work AH n it’s been 6 years since u got me hooked on audiobooks. (Jakobi PLEASE come back 🙏🏽) Urs r STILL the BEST🫶🏽🎊🎉💃🏽💫

good book

nice to see mclains again...i thought their love was kinda infatuation but i liked reading and learning about this couple!!! house is good always and i love the narrators as always!!!!!

I really enjoyed this book. I understood Kendra feeling as though she owed Polo because of everything that he’d done for her, but it did not excuse his infidelity. There is no doubt that Polo really loved Kendra, and when he expressed himself in counseling, I understood his mindset (but I still don’t condone his infidelity!).

I was really hoping that Kendra’s baby was for Polo! That twist was my least favorite part of the book, but I understand that there had to be some karma for his actions and THAT was definitely it. Overall, it’s a great book and I’m very glad that Polo and Ken were able to overcome the challenges and build a new life TOGETHER. 🤎

OAN: Ms. House is the BEST for continuing to allow previous characters to make appearances in the books! I loooooooooove Leland McClain! He is hands down my favorite McClain brother!!!!!👏🏾👏🏾🥰 I appreciated his friendship with Polo because he supported him, yet he also held him accountable. And of course, Uncle Lee Chester came through with the shenanigans, lolllll. He is just hilarious and awesome. I also like how the author includes comedy in the books through the characters responses. It’s not over the top or distracting, it’s just enough to balance out the emotions.

I love Alexandria House! The images of black love and the struggles to achieve it are so relatable! I’ve listened to almost all the series she has.

WOW!!

When I tell you I screamed at the end!!! Unusually only listen to my books while I work, but I HAD to finish this on the drive home…. I LITERALLY screamed at Ken’s news to Pollo!!! I can’t wait to start the next book in this series
