I actually bought this by accident.
I thought this was a different book. It's pretty good and the orator is also very good. I was surprised and pleased by how much I enjoyed the book. Worth the listen.

I need more but...
This was so very satisfying. I love a story with so many tendrils that I have to listen again to tie the knots. I love these knots. The magic here is so comfortable and yet so complex. The format of stories that fold into each other is new to me and kept me rapt.
I want more of this world and these wonderful characters but I also found the ending both transcendent and absolutely heartbreaking.
I am so hopeful for more from this pairing. The narration reeled me in and pulled me under. The last time I was this happy to drown in a novel was Between Two Fires.

Rachel Pollack is an absolute genius! Her story telling encapsulates the mythos of the multidimensional time we live in. She weaves in magic and myth into a contemporary time in an easeful and poetic way that brings joy, inspiration and mystery. MUST READ!
