i liked the book but the performance was not great. it wasnt the reader herself as much as how it was patched together. at some points she would sound normal and then all the sudden she would get very loud for a few sentences like she forgot to read it the first time around

I really like her books but I will warn listeners that she inserts homosexual relationships in most of her books. Nothing explicit but it’s there all the same. Not everyone is sympathetic to that plight. FYI

I never leave reviews.
I really loved this book and I became very attached to the characters and storyline. I almost didn't choose this book because others had said that they didn't like the recording. Some people complained that they could tell that parts of the recording were redone and sounded "tinny". You know what? So what, it didn't matter. I heard what they were talking about and it didn't matter. AT ALL. The narrator did a stellar job. She played all the different characters effortlessly and the story was amazing and suspenseful. I loved every minute of it!

Interesting, sometimes hard to follow
Started very slowly, and the hopping around between the three different storylines was exhausting to follow. I'm not a fan of this narrator's take on the male characters - I've heard her on other Lisa Jewell novels. I'm also not a huge fan of the tidy, nice and clean ending. Felt a little like pandering to the audience.

Good story with a great performance!
The performance of this story was stellar, bringing the story to life! Jewell keeps the reader interested by switching between character storylines, as well as time lines. This book is worth the time!

Captivating
This was such a great book. Three stories...wondering how they all connected and how it would end. Each chapter would switch to one of the 3 stories and it would leave you hanging going to go to the next chapter/story. Loved it!!!
