Story was good but..

The story line was good but the narration needed a lot of help, there was many many times in the book where it sounds like a recording over the original. It wasn’t spliced together well at all. It was sometimes distracting. The story line was good though and kept me guessing who the man on the beach was.

The characters were so relatable. I just love Alice! Great story line. Kept me interested the whole way through.. could sort of see where it was going.. but there was enough to have you guessing. Great read for sure!!

On the edge of your seat vs. being bored

The story is an interesting one, that's for sure. For much of the book; however, I was bored of the story and it felt like it dragged on. The middle to end of the book were quite good and I couldn't stop listing. I love the narrator as well. She does a great job with the different characters.
