Gets better every time

I was having problems liking this heroine in the 1st 2 books because she was very judgmental & often judged good people very harshly w/out getting to know them. I did not like her disobedience to her Guardian ALL THE TIME. He was the closet thing to father she was going to get & although we as children like to be rebels, she never stops! I don't know how he had the chance to teach her anything. SHE NEVER LISTENS EVEN WHEN ITS LIFE OR DEATH! Well it seems as if she finally started growing up. About midway through this book she finally starts to obey her gardian more (but definately still being a pain in the a**) & realizing she's been not giving others a chance before judging. One thing that really bugs me is that every male in this book is fighting over Silver & threatening each over, over Silver. She must be sum kind of rare Demigod. Lol. I would like them to find the other Crossbreeds (which I'm sure Raven Black from the Crossbreed series will be one. Btw Crossbreed series is one of the best fantasy series I have ever read. Can't wait 4 book 4). I liked that Christian from Crossbreed was in this book. The Mageri series must have been his character's introduction b4 the Crossbreed series. His character is absolutely delightful w/all the smart remarks & innuendos. Keeps me laughing in this book as well as in the Crossbreed series. Gotta love that Simon as well. Just found out that he has a book so I'm definately getting that as soon as I finish this series. I'm glad that Silver is finally growing up!

Christian

I loved Christian.I still love Finn. I was very annoyed at Silver who is thirty years old but behaves like an unruly teenager who doesn't think before acting sometimes. spoilers:
Also Adam shame on him for being mad at her. Even with that this book is definitely worth the read.

Leaves you hanging

Leaves you hanging and wants to go on with story. A bit steamy in places.

Very enjoyable

I stumbled upon the dynamic duo of Dannika Dark and Nicole Poole while trying to find something to take my mind off of my pain. It was a newer book series and I instantly was hooked. I wish I would have found that her series books characters link to eachother in some way while staying a standalone comprehension. Over the course of the series’ you can watch the skills of both the writer and the narrator blossom and become outstanding. The stories all pull you in, wrap you up, and rock you into the world you’re reading about. Attention to detail in the story telling are done in such perfection that you can see in your minds eye as if you are there. This series seems as if it is during early years of the narrator. As the series progresses you get to witness her skill flourishing and become absolutely amazing. The first book starts slow and the narration starts flat. Hang on and give it a chance, you won’t be sorry. By book 3 you can’t stop listening. When you get to the narrations in 2022, you will swear there are several people reading, not just Nicole. It’s simply astonishing.

Amazing!

This one is the best one so far. A lot of answers and a lot of excitement.
The author really did an amazing job developing the character and giving you just enough info to keep you wanting for more. The narrator really is right on par with the accents and nuances of each character. 5 stars all the way to this one too!

Christian!!!!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Impulse to be better than the print version?

Haven't read the print.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Impulse?

Christian! Please make Silver choose Christian!!!!!

What about Nicole Poole’s performance did you like?

Great, except for angry screeches - actually, apart from that, she'd have to be the best audible voice so far. LOVE the accents.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES

Any additional comments?

Please make Silver choose Justice or Christian - PLEASEEEEEEE!!!!! :)

Narrator was terrific

I liked the world created in this series, I liked every character except the lead female Silver. She seemed to childish to me. All other characters were wonderful adults that were suppose to be adults. But I didn’t enjoy Silver. She seemed liked a 17-19 year old brat wanna be adult instead of a 30 year old. She mucked things up continuously as she stamped her foot and seemed to say “I’ll do it and I don’t care what u say”. I was never really impressed by any gifts she had and certainly would have liked to see her gifts grow into something more considering she was to b a special rare unique. The narrator did a terrific job.

Mageri Book 3

I can’t seem to get enough of this series. Nicole Poole you are a gem. Each character is expertly portrayed. Well done lady!
I am wondering how this series has not been selected to go in movie production. I will undoubtedly be first in line for tickets.
